I made this in 2002, the year I returned from my LDS mission. There are things I am proud of, and many, many more that make me cringe. Enjoy, if you please.

Dang this popped up on my home screen on KZbin and watched all of this and it gave me some relief almost and confidence I loved this video because it shows what a missionary does and goes through. I’ll be going on a mission to California in 20 days so thank you for the awesome video

Hey thanks for that message of not letting what we don't want get in our head brother. Just got home early and this couldn't more perfectly illustrate my attitude towards normal life vs mission life.

Just discovered this movie. Thanks for making it. It shows me that altitude is related to attitude.

Hello, Thank you for the video. Nice use of a tripod, shot composition, and decent audio work. Why did you go handheld during the last shot? Nice piece with a decent, and relatable story. This was eighteen years ago. Did you go on to work in media?

If the last thing the elder read was supposed to stir and uplift my soul it had the opposite effect. Ïmagine love calling someone an unworthy creature.... not the love i know. I think this is the major flaw in this ideology that we are seen in the eyes of God as being worthy or not ...but not in the sense of whether we are aligned with God or not but more from a sense of judgement and whether we are in favor of God or not. A Parent does nt ever view his child like this.

Of course you're assuming that the Book of Mormon is not scripture, and that you are better at interpreting the word of god than the men we sustain as prophets and apostles. Perhaps instead of assuming such, you could actually read the book yourself, ponder over the ENTIRE message instead of parsing a single passage, and ask god in faith and humility whether it's true?

I pray that you will prayerfully read the Book of Mormon with a sincere heart as exhorted by Moroni in Moroni 10:4-5; and read from the first page to that part: Mosiah 4:11. If the truth shall make you free, maybe it's worth giving serious consideration. I pray that you will do so.

I am 4 years late. But everything is taken in context. He was happier when he was worthy. That I feel was the point of his whole flashback experience. To realize that. At times aligning ourselves to God means having to repent, and having to repent means fostering humility in ourselves first.

You think anyone would buy a D&D style RPG game where you're a missionary going around converting orcs and giant bugs and the like? Maybe some swordfighting skeletons and stuff...I've been wondering if that's a really hilariously good idea or bad one.
@speelbergo9 жыл бұрын
hmm i think that's a clever thought, but i don't play RPG games so i don't know how good or bad it would be
@DarthABBA9 жыл бұрын
You know how they work though right?

Well I think it'd be a pretty neat game, and since you were a missionary I thought it'd be best to ask you some questions. Do you think there should be fighting in it (eg skeletons and the orcs and evil nights that reject the word) and the missionaries have all sorts of faith powers akin to a paladin they can use and such?

Trust in Jesus he died for your sins, believe the gospel. Repent!!! If you do sin confess your sins, ask him to help you overcome your sins he will. Obey Jesus, live by his teachings, be led by the Holy Spirit. The Lord is coming soon you must live by his teachings. The love of God is beyond our understanding.

I'm flattered that you would put me on your site. I just hope that all the movies you post are legally uploaded. I'd hate to see someone that spent real money on their production lose money due to someone illegally uploading their movie without permission.

speelbergo All movies are 3rd party links. As for the legality of them, we just make them available. Instead of going to KZbin and seeing anti-mormon stuff on the side bar as there is now, they go to our site and are protected. The onwer of the KZbin, VEOH video gets the views. Your movie is a great one.Good job on it!
