My advice to you is to change method of doing any exercises. I mean to have the possibility to choose the answer without pausing and wait for it. I know you have to change your software to do It. Sorry, but if copy from bbc learning English, It’d be better to have a right/wrong answer. This is my thought. Thanks.

🙏🌟 Thank you for your valuable suggestion! It's high time to explore new approaches, and your method is truly fantastic. 😄✨ We don't need to change the software for this; with the software we currently use, we can create videos in any format. 🎥📊 Let me emphasize that we never copy from other channels in any way. We pride ourselves on being the pioneers, the first KZbin channel to create quiz videos specifically for English learners. Other quiz videos out there are often mere replicas of our content. 🚫📝 Once again, we appreciate your feedback immensely. You and your suggestions/comments hold great significance to us. excuse me sir, but can i ask u a question? is it used "were" or "was" when talking in the 2nd conditional? when writing or answering grammars. i mean i heared a lot of people saying that both of them are right, but we need a specific answer cause we will lose marks! so it's always used were or was? or there's some rules? Thank you

In my opinion, I think the correct answer of no. 9 like this: If the weather WAS better, we would plan a day trip to the countryside
@EnglishTestBlog
@EnglishTestBlog 11 ай бұрын
🙂 Great effort! Your sentence is almost perfect. The correct use of "was" in this second conditional sentence is appropriate. 👍 However, when it comes to the second conditional, "were" can also be used instead of "was" for the pronouns "he," "she," or "it." For example: "If the weather WERE better, we would plan a day trip to the countryside."

9/10 I got only 6th question wrong. I do not understand why would become is the best choice. Why not became option or didnt become?
@EnglishTestBlog
@EnglishTestBlog Жыл бұрын
The second conditional is a grammatical structure used to talk about hypothetical or unreal situations in the present or future. It consists of an "if" clause (conditional clause) and a main clause. The "if" clause expresses the condition, and the main clause expresses the result or outcome of that condition. The structure of the second conditional is as follows: If + simple past verb (conditional clause), subject + would + base form of the verb (main clause). Explanation for the question: In the given question, the condition is "if we let them" which implies a hypothetical situation where we allow the children to become overly dependent on screens and technology. The result of this condition is the children becoming overly dependent. To express this hypothetical outcome, we use the second conditional structure. Since we are talking about a hypothetical result in the future, the correct choice is "would become." This indicates that if we allow the children to become overly dependent, the expected outcome is that they would become dependent on screens and technology.

@EnglishTestBlog
@EnglishTestBlog Жыл бұрын
🌟😊 Thank you for sharing your question, and it's great to see your attention to detail! 🤔📚 In the second conditional, we can use either "was" or "were" in the "if" clause when talking about hypothetical or unreal situations. Traditionally, "were" is considered more formal, especially when discussing hypothetical conditions. However, in modern usage, "was" is also widely accepted and used. Therefore, you can confidently use either "If the weather was nicer" or "If the weather were nicer" in the sentence. 🌳🌤️🏞️ Keep up the great work, and if you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask. We're here to help you on your English learning journey! 🌍📚😊
