Even though they arent as metalcore today, they can always look back and see how amazing they were before the fortune and fame. They were fantastic then and they are more than fantastic now! A7x can sadly rock on without Jimmy, and we can always look back at the time where he and his brothers became legend.

i love how much their look changed once they went mainstream. i like them both pre-fame and post-fame. a7x is one of the few bands who weren't raped by the music industry. in fact, i'd have to say they did a great job of bringing attention to the metal scene and showing the world that the volume knob on an amp is meant to be cranked!

Second Heartbeat is, in my opinion, the best song on Waking The Fallen musically, with I Won't See You Tonight coming in at second. Waking The Fallen i such a sick album; the thing that has always put it at the top of my list is the fact that its music grows on you. it matures with you, and the more ppl listen to it the more they understand it. damn, i remember goin to this warped tour just to see avenged sevenfold and poison the well. what a good year this was. first time i ever saw them was in 2002 in san pedro, ca. at a house show, and now they are playin stadiums and what not. its CRAZY. not really a fan of their new music, but their old stuff is still kick ass, and in my opinion, their BEST.

Back in the good ol' days when they had cables. I love the old stuff and the new stuff. The old stuff was aggresssive and energetic. The new album has generally more meaning, focusing on problems and challenges in life. COE was all about sin and was a profanity-fest but I loved it all the same. STST had crazy drums and interesting ideas (mainly religious). WTF was my fave though. Hence, why I love this song so fucking much. It's just so raw and powerful. This is A7X in its purest form. Love it.
