The bigger programs in college baskeyball get the players with talent not all of them but they base it on potential and upside while the smaller program get players who can score and are skilled offensively. In the nba it is about height and upside they don’t look at players who are short and have skills to get buckets

It's easy to play the blame game when your team loses but I don't think the refs have been bad enough to cost a team a win, much less multiple. Sometimes a good team just gets beat. Saw it with Ohio State, saw it with Texas, saw it with Illinois. Combination of ill-preparedness, underseeded opponents and sloppiness cost them all more than refs.

ORU just kept scrapping, and the Gators didn't finish them off. And the three ball is always a great equalizer. All my teams, except the 'Zags and Syracuse are done now: St. Bonaventure, Missouri, Texas, Florida, Buffalo in the NIT, all home or going home.

THE SEC is overrated for hoops, and has been the last few seasons. And, when KY. does not win, historically, the SEC does not generally win the title, and rarely goes to the FINAL FOUR. Only FLA. is the title exception, and now they are gone. LSU in the '80's made the FINAL 4, & GEORGIA AND AUBURN more recently, VERY recently AUB.. and that is it for the F4. None of the latter were in the FINALS..

If you study the stats and matchups, the results aren’t terribly surprising. I had E Washington winning in the first round also...if they had a better defensive system, they would have won handily. ORU had an even matchup with the gators and I gave them a decent shot at winning with the better 3 point %
