Second Sight in Northern Canada

It is not just in the north. 40 yrs ago, I drove my family across Canada and back. I had never had any experience like this. As I drove, my minds eye would travel ahead of me. I would see cars - trucks, accidents - places - miles before I physically drove by. It kept my mind sharp. When I got to the Rockies - I would again travel - far ahead of myself. Finally - I was behind - a car that had passed me some 20 minutes before. I saw the accident - and the smoke. Some 15 minutes later - I rounded the corner and was met with the scene. I realized that keeping this to myself was the only way forward. My family was logical, there was no room for these kind of "OUT THERE" ideas. I accepted this as my new normal - and added things as I lived. Cheers and Thank you!

I'm native American and was raised in a small town in Alaska.I'm not disagreeing about these stories at all I find them fascinating but here's something to consider that I have first hand experience with.. sometimes you can't divulge how you came up with information in certain cases otherwise YOU'LL be suspected to be involved and that's the short version I'm sharing. So you have to say you dreamt it or had a strange vision... they'll buy that before believing you are smart enough to generate another person's thoughtwaves and provide information.

I have had dreams about hunting. I always had little things here or there but kinda just put it down to paying attention and my brain working while sleeping. When the hunting dreams happened, it very much changed my perspective.

Thanks for the mention of Second Sight among the Celts. It runs very strongly through my family for that reason. It's fascinating that the Dene, another northern people from another continent, have it so strongly too. There are other cultures throughout the world that have similar traditions also. Fascinating!

That was a very good read. Most of the time I find myself shaking my head at the countless incorrect pronunciations and enunciation by narrators. Before anyone decides to flame me for saying this I would suggest taking into consideration the fact that KZbin is overloaded with far less professional content that doesn't make use of a good introductory screenshot, thumbnails and/or a verbal introduction followed by a smooth transition from there into the main topic such as can be observed herein. Again, and I don't say this often or flippantly, good job with this project and I look forward to enjoying more after reading the book.

The main problem with thinking everything can be rationally explained is the mad rush that ensued by folk to be recognised for explaining something...anything....before others did. Resulting in the situation we find ourselves in today where much of whats taught & claimed as solved/answered by science are the imaginings of men upon the imaginings of men, theories extrapolated out of all proportion, constructs with less integrity than a house of cards......and those subjects &/or problems, that only required more time or information & understanding for the actual solution to be revealed....had scores of men driven by their over weaning pride in a rush for recognition to claim 'this' to be solved, 'that' to be solved & the answer discovered to 'the other'....have been exposed & are exposed as mere 'fancies' year in & year out.

I've had that, and once if I listened to the most horrifying and vivid and disturbing dream ever, my Life would of turned out better, and that was the Path, but I couldn't do something like that, its against my nature, although not everyone's, and acceptable by society. And when my ex died early, I shot out of bed wide awake and knew she passed, and other things, once I had a tick on my foot, deer tick on my Toe Nail, I had a Vision of a Tick on my Toe Nail, and looked down and picked him off! And I have never had an imagine in my head like that before or anything like it! And I bet that little ducker had Lyme!

This is such an interesting video because I have that second sight and I think it has come thru my ancestors from Ireland. In one dream, I asked if one ancestor could name a place in Ireland, and show a map on where my grandfather had come from. It showed me a place, but not the name but searching came upon a distinctive tree that’s only grown in Ireland, and was so shocked to see it on the property. If I meet with anyone, I can see death, can be in the present, or future, it will show me exactly what is wrong with the person, exactly, so this way, I can contact the person and tell them what is going to happen,exactly, it’s up to them to believe it, change their diet, whatever and watch for it so it doesn’t consume your body. I have a hard time, convincing people and just have to let them pass away. It’s good in one way because I can tell them, but bad for me, because of the pain I experience when they don’t believe me. Now, the good part of this story, is if they change their diet or ways, that window will close and you will live longer. I see the future, and it’s not pretty but I’m hopeful we will change Earth to become greener once again. It’s vital to stop pulling oil, coal and gas, out of the earth, it causes the planet to become so acidic, which causes a snowball effect. I hope it never happens. I make a journal of my dreams, because it’s essentially a story of the world, what can happen, or will happen, or might not.

Sadly, technological advancement will reduce the ability to "SEE". I read a proposition in a book some time ago, that the remote cultures developed ESP much like a muscle, its practical need for the tribe or the individual would vary. People in remote settlement, where dependence upon one another was paramount, would know of disaster without explanation. The less people rely on their 6th sense, the more the "psychic muscle mass" will atrophy.
