For all those pregnant ladies, stay in touch with your doctor about constipation. It can become dangerous and need guidance. Blessings to you Mindy!! I had the heart burn in the second trimester too. My doctor told me that if I was already having it get ready, because it was going to get a lot worse in the 3rd trimester. I’m 36 weeks now and man was she right! Try to get on the medication as soon as you can, because you can really irritate your throat and start wheezing and having issues breathing. Thankfully my doctor got me on stronger medication and I am feeling much better now.

This is so interesting Mindy!! 36 years too late for me. When I had my daughter I wasn’t nearly as aware of how pregnancy effected me and changed my body. I regret not being more aware. But between you and Larry I’d say you got this!!!! Take care and rest when you need to. There’s a family in the U.K. called Radfords and she has 22 kids!!!! We just took 2 classes at the hospital. A baby CPR class and a class going over what to expect during the birthing process (tour of hospital, where you'll be if a C sections needed, etc.) We found those classes to be very interesting and helpful. They gave us some confidence going into a situation neither had ever experienced. I also had a female OBGYN but ended up having a totally different male doctor (on call) for labor. You really DON'T care at that point....you just want someone who knows what's going on!

Woohoo home stretch!! Can't wait to see nursery! I had the same sciatica at the same time and it did fade away by 3rd trimester- but as I healed post baby, had it again for a short time (maybe a month after?), but it did go away too. I think it's those ligaments moving out, then back in! But very temporary!

With the leg cramps, instant relief occurs when you stand up. Your instinct is to grab it and try rub it or whatever, but the best thing to do is stand up, as much as you don’t want to. I get them a lot and have done for years. But I get out of bed and stand up and it goes away instantly.

Palmers Coco Butter is the best. It's been around for years and it will definitely help. Use it at night and when you get out. Make sure you're also not forgetting to lotion your hips thighs and the ta tas especially in the third trimester because everything is getting bigger and maybe swelling so you can get stretch marks anywhere. The vitamins can make you constipated too. If it doesn't get better speak to your doctor about using some Miralax every day until you get regular again.

Third trimester is kicking my butt, and I just want to eat and sleep most days!

Omg, I miss the baby hiccups in my belly. My baby's hiccups struck EVERY night at 11:30pm. Every single night. Without fail. The best part was the day she was born, once 11:30pm hit, I was holding her in my arms while she slept, and she got the hiccups. lol She got them for a few weeks around the same time, and it was just so funny. Baby is 5 months old now, and I already miss my pregnancy with her so much. In a silly way, I'm envious of you that you're getting to experience all of this. My pregnancies were pre-internet. Last child 1999. I don't recall even bringing up the word trimester. I didn't track symptoms or changes. I just knew that sometime in May I would have my kids & sometime in August I concieved. Exact conception dates weren't known(my periods were always irregular/PCOS) and neither came at the due dates that were put down. If things were exact, then my first was 10 days early and the second a week late. I didn't take any lamaze & didn't learn about breastfeeding until the day of birth. I wore the gown they gave and only brought essential things, like car seat. They provided everything else. I walked as much as I could during pregnancy & I think it helped labor & delivery.

Let me tell u that u can read every book and it is never gonna hurt to do that.......BUT LOL every pregnancy, delivery and child is there own individual experience that u can never be fully prepared for. The best piece of advice I would give just my own opinion. ENJOY every moment from pregnancy to birth and then every single day u get with that little precious individual. It is cliché to say but it goes so quickly. If u have a choice between cuddling and vacuuming choose to cuddle if it is the difference between doing dishes and a movie watch that movie 🎬. Obviously we still need to clean and be organized just saying in my own life if I could go back I would worry less about cleaning and work and more about snuggling. Some things never change. It has been THRITY years since my first pregnancy and the thing that I honestly remember the most about pregnancy is the "throat heartburn". It was HORRIBLE and the only thing that helped me was tums or back then was rolaids. My biggest fear and what I learned to NEVER allow to happen was to run out of tums in the middle of the night, because I learned the hard way that if I did, I WOULD be going to the store at 3 am if needed.

The rib pain was severe for me during my pregnancy. I worked full time in an office and I would have to go into the restroom and lie down (It was an individual restroom...one for men and one for women, so a very small office). The pain was intense and I was desperate. I would have to "stretch out" to get relief. My son was 2 weeks early and weighed 9.5 lbs. so he was a big boy stuffed up behind my ribs. :)

When pregnant histamine levels and mast cells are much higher which create symptoms of all you mention. I’m not pregnant for example but I have a mast cell disease so I feel these symptoms but on a much greater level everyday. For years and years. Hiccups and acid reflux is also a sign of mast cell and high histamine issues so if you can figure out what you eat or do before when your baby starts hiccuping then that might help him stop the hiccups. Hiccups and burping excessive is very much related to histamine levels. Yes the baby inside the womb can have histamine reactions to foods causing them to move excessively or have hiccups. I was a hiccup fetus myself. The highest histamine level times in humans are at night and during sleep so when people wake up that’s often why they are swollen. All this stuff happening during pregnancy is yes symptoms of pregnancy. Even the throat on fire is histamine symptoms. Histamines and pregnancy go hand in hand. Oh here is a short paragraph I read about it: Total blood histamine is highest during the first trimester before declining during the second and third trimesters. The uterine lining, uterine muscles, and placenta are high in mast cells and HDC enzymes, which increase histamines in these tissues.

Coconut water is quite good for electrolytes...since you drink a lot of water...sometimes water is good for thirst but necessarily good for hydration. I would suggest seeing if any child birth classes are offered near you..or breast feeding classes. I would find your local la Leche league for breast feeding support groups and lactation consultants. Support is a must have. I think it is important to have a birth plan..many things that seem mandatory are actually not such as breaking the water or using a continuous monitor or vaginal checks during labor. Eye gel as well..vaccines at birth. Some women do not know these are optional and you can have a say on what matters to you.

The Pepcid complete berry chew tablets are the best for acid reflux! I have the same throat burning sometimes, and it’s an immediate relief! It has famitodine which is an amazing acid reducer, and calcium carbonate which everyone’s familiar with (Tums). But the famitodine is what the miracle worker is! 👏🏻
