I also stopped drinking coffee for the same reason! But, if you like the taste of coffee like me you could always switch to decaf!! Feels so much better to not be addicted to caffeine 😅

You moved to Switzerland because your parents paid for you. Actually the majority of people would have done that if they had the possibility. But don't interpret it as if it was your money.

Thank you so much for your very pertinent comment! I come from a middle-class family in southern Ontario and this definitely contributed to my getting a residency permit in Switzerland. I feel extremely lucky to have this opportunity, as I know that not everyone could be in this position. I have been working since part-way through high school, so I had saved some of my own money before coming here, and I have worked part-time for the past year and was able to entirely pay for my second year through the money I made this year. However, you are right to point out that my simple entrance to the country may have been denied depending on my socio-economic background, and you are right to do so. I truly wish that everyone could have this possibility, but unfortunately this isn't the case. I hope this helps
