Secondary Combustion Stove with Tornado Blades (Tornado Stabilization)

This time, I attached a blade (feather) to the tornado of the secondary combustion stove. In the previous video, the secondary combustion hole was bent and the fire ring was used to create a tornado. However, if the firepower weakens or is blown by the wind, the tornado becomes unstable and the axis shakes or collapses.
I also had an issue. This time, we aim to assist and stabilize the tornado by rotating the updraft of the stove with a blade to address such a problem.

Flame comparison between fire ring only and fire ring + blade
1. When the secondary combustion flame was strong, both were tornadoed beautifully, and the difference in rotational force was not recognized with the naked eye.
2. When the secondary combustion flame is weak, the center of the flame rotates without blurring with the fire ring + blade. On the other hand, with only the fire ring attached, the center of the flame was blurred and the tornado became unstable.
As mentioned above, the effect of stabilizing the tornado was recognized with the blade.
However, you can enjoy the flickering of flames and changes in rotation just by installing a fire ring, so you can enjoy a wonderful tornado with this.

Such an entertaining flame. How is the flame affected as you restrict the primary air? What about using hardwood pellets, is the flame much different?
@camp2476
@camp2476 5 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment. Restricting the primary air makes the flame smaller, and releasing the air makes the flame bigger again. The fuel this time is pine pellets. It is a coniferous tree. Coniferous trees contain pine resin, which makes them highly combustible. However, compared to hardwood, it burns quickly and the flame lasts for a short time.

Hi, it looks really cool and I tried this too. I managed to light it, but the flame was very weak and didn't go as high as yours. What's your advice?
@camp2476
@camp2476 5 ай бұрын
Hello. Thank you for your comment. I'm not sure what condition your stove is in, but it seems like the combustion is weak. It is assumed that the air intake of the stove is normal. There are two types of fuel pellets: softwood and hardwood, and there are differences in combustion. I used pine pellets. Because it contains pine resin, it has a high combustion rate. It burns better than hardwood, but the burn time is shorter. If you use hardwoods, I think that soaking them in a little bit of cooking oil or kerosene will make them more combustible.

@camp2476
