how fascicular cambium converts medullary days into meristematic tissues ?

Permanent Cells of Medullary rays undergo a process called dedifferentiation in which they loose their specialized function, becomes undifferentiated and regains the power of division. This part of fascicular cambium formed by dedifferentiation of cells of medullary rays is called Interfascicular cambium. Hope it helps :)
