🌍 Sustainability in the ELT Classroom: Making a positive change in the world.
Teaching English is far more than vocabulary and grammar. It’s opening the doors to the world and helping learners become citizens of the world. This is where they can understand that they are part of something much bigger than just their neighborhood as well as the impact of their actions in a global perspective. This is a great opportunity to bring topics like sustainability to class. In this talk, we will explore the Cambridge Sustainability Framework for ELT, understanding key points in sustainability and how we can incorporate it in classes with ideas of activities and expansion projects you can do to bring awareness and critical thinking to your classes to help learners think about how they can make a positive change through small actions that affect people at a global level.
