As I have reread the story of Jacob I have found things that were interesting, Like if you do a time line study, Jacob was about 80 when he left his parents. after the whole ordeal He left with the permission of his father and mother as you read it. I was always taught that he was probably in his 30's when this hapend and he ran away. But if he was in his 80's and his parents told him to go find a wife, why didn't they send him with wealth for the dowry?
