Just take a deep breath and try to find an escape. I'm not a good example because I run my hand under blistering hot water but read or write. Maybe try going to the gym. It works for a while. This song has a really deep meaning to me. It was the last song I heard before I went into my drug-induced coma. I remember staring at the wall facing the hot tub in my suite and remembering this would be my end. I was content with my feelings. As I downed the rest of the store-bought moonshine, I reflected on my past and had nothing else to live for. I remembered the fight before I left, the apathy everyone had toward me, and the lack of hesitation from the hotel clerk who handed me the room key at the Motel 6. Why did I hold on? I can't seem to answer that question. I was dead for 18 hours. Why couldn't I stay that way?
