NIROM Closing 8 of March, 1942 & National Anthem of Netherlands - Instrumental Only

After all this time, I finally got an accurate version (Same, kind, but not the original record).
I picked up the audio of the national anthem from the Dutch radio broadcast during the Second World War, De Brandaris.
Nederlandsch-Indische Radio Omroep Maatschappij (Dutch: The Dutch East Indies Radio Broadcast) is a Dutch East Indies government radio which after its independence was changed its name to Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI).
The most famous NIROM employee in the Netherlands was Announcer Bert Garthoff who, after the Japanese invasion and the surrender of the Dutch Indies government on March 8, 1942, closed the broadcast with the words: Wij gaan nu sluiten. Vaarwel, tot betere tijden. Leve de Koningin. ("Goodbye, until a better time. Long live the Queen!"). But NIROM was still broadcasting for another week and, to the amazement of its listeners, was still broadcasting the Dutch national anthem entitled: Wilhelmus van Nassouwe. When the Japanese learned about the music being broadcast, three NIROM broadcast employees were sentenced to death.
Bert Garthoff's own fate he was taken prisoner in the Japanese Detention Camp, Until September 1945. After that, he returned to work as a Radio Broadcaster, and other events. He retired in 1978, and died in Amsterdam, July 27, 1997 at the age of 83 years.

Audio lagu kebangsaannya sendiri saya ambil dari siaran radio Belanda selama Perang Dunia Kedua, De Brandaris.
Nederlandsch-Indische Radio Omroep Maatschappij (bahasa Belanda: Maskapai Siaran Radio Hindia Belanda) adalah radio pemerintah Hindia Belanda yang setelah kemerdekaan Indonesia diubah namanya menjadi Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI).
Pegawai NIROM yang paling terkenal di Belanda adalah Penyiar Bert Garthoff yang setelah penyerbuan Jepang dan menyerahnya pemerintah Hindia Belanda pada 8 Maret 1942, menutup siarannya dengan kata-kata: Wij gaan nu sluiten. Vaarwel, tot betere tijden. Leve de Koningin. ("Selamat berpisah, hingga waktu yang lebih baik kelak. Hidup Sang Ratu!"). Namun NIROM masih mengadakan siaran seminggu lagi dan, yang membuat tercengang para pendengarnya, masih menyiarkan lagu kebangsaan Belanda berjudul: Wilhelmus van Nassouwe. Ketika Jepang mengetahui musik yang disiarkan itu, tiga pegawai siaran NIROM dihukum mati.
Nasib Bert Garthoff sendiri dia ditawan di Kamp Tahanan Jepang, Hingga Bulan September 1945. Setelah itu, ia kembali bekerja sebagai Penyiar Radio, dan acara lainnya. Dia pensiun tahun 1978, dan meninggal di Amsterdam, 27 Juli 1997 pada umur 83 tahun.

The Radio Station is located in " Puntang Malabar Mountains hill bandung " west Java Indonesia. " The Malabar Radio station was the biggest Radio station In the World between 1917 - 1929 That was being build by the Netherland !! and It was being used and destroyed by the japanese around 1942 - 1945 !! You still can see the Ruins right now In that Puntang Mountain Malabar !! Covered with trees And plantation it looks like an ancient temple. And today is become a tourist attraction for a Historical purpose !!

I believe that's likely when the Japanese invaded the radio building. They told the staff to carry on as normal, which they did by broadcasting "Het Wilhelmus", for which 3 of them were later executed.

At the end of the day all of those shippings were either redirected to other nations, or were indeed delivered to Dutch units whom are evacuated to Australia and Sri Lanka

"Het Wilhelmus" was written over a faster-paced catholic french song that mocks the protestant Condé in his failed attempt to take Chartres in 1568. It made way to the Netherlands and became a local song, and later an hymn - a curious thing common at the time. If you ready the first and last verses of the original french song it's possible to sing over the dutch hymn, adjusting to the slower pace: "O la folle entreprise Du prince de Condé! A Chartres la jolie ll a voulu entrer; Priant Dieu par sa grace Qu'il leur voulust ayder Et convaincre la force Du prince de Condé."
