I really appreciate what youve done here, I actually like the fact that it looks fan-made (ignore the criticism) it kinda adds to the realism you know we are in the age of youtube and phone videos so I think it really works. I loved the extra gore obviously pushing for more of a teen rating but we (the fans of Goosebumps) are much older now so I thought it was a great idea! If youre interested in a cameraman or want to collaborate I'd be happy to share some ideas, might help add some polish. No pressure. Aside from that though I really loved this reimagining!

I'm going to be honest with you. I understand this is a fanmade extreamly low budget film. Even so, I've seen short horror story videos with acting wayy better. I'd say the acting is less than average. I'm very sorry I'm not trying to be rude. I'm just trying to give honest constructive criticism. My advice to improve your future films if the acting cant change is sound. Sound is incredibly important in a film. If you watch a trying to be series interaction but it sounds like a Childs homemade video with the sounds of heavy wind and far away audible voice speech its going to drastically make your video suck. If possible, have some acting lessons. 1:25. It's like a dear in headlights communication. I couldn't help but notice the scene staying on the mom until she says "hello". It seemed like a desperate way to say "look things go on in the background. Positive note, your intro is very good. The changed music was fantastic. The scenes and the mystery man did a great job. Maybe that's the secret, make your actors all mutes. just kidding xD. Anyways good luck to you!

First off I'd like to state that I understand that this video is FANmade and that the budget was practically none if really existed at all. I apologize in advance for this being lengthy rant and these are solely my opinions. I do not mean to hurt anyone's feelings or am I trying to make anyone feel bad... There are SPOILERS so you've been warned. Why is the Goosebumps into music SO much louder then the actual audio?! Still same complaint about the suit case opening in the into (stated in comments of pt. 1) Sabrina's "cat" costume is horrible. Not even a tail and her ears are black paper. 😑 Didn't even try really to make a costume... No wonder she suggested to Carly Beth in part 1 they steal one from the barn! OMG, who'd wear something precious that you just got from a passed away loved one on the OUTSIDE of their shirt?! It could get caught on something and the chain breaks (especially going to a party), it'll tarnish faster and get nicks and scratches, and not to mention it DOES NOT GO WITH HER COSTUME AT ALL... Should have had a close up scene of Carly Beth pulling her shirt a little and dropping it in so it sits agents her chest... And a bit more of a back story on how long her Dad's been gone and maybe how he died would have been nice. I'm still unclear if he died or left actually. So Chuck and Steve skip a Halloween party to drink and smoke in some graveyard? Together alone an Halloween? These guys ARE in highschool, right? I'm shocked there's no mention of trick-or-treating! And no jack-o-lanterns as far as the eye can see. Disappointing considering it's "Halloween". Plus very little Halloween decorations throughout the 2 video parts too. 😔 I personally love to see holiday decorations in holiday specific stuff. So SOMEHOW Carly Beth knows her bullies are in the graveyard and she just shows up with (a very rubber looking) butcher knife. 🙄 How'd she know where they were? Where'd she get the knife? WTF, like 4 minutes in part 1 of so many angles of Carly Beth just walking yet no back story to very key parts of the story at all. Sorry, but this is very poorly written. Ahhh, and the Beetlejuice main theme song again as background music 😑 in a Goosebumps video. 🤬 After the chase scene in the forst: 😐 well that... Took a VERY dark turn... Definitely not in the book or Goosebumps TV show The Haunted Mask, that's for sure! Okay, I know Sabrina and Carly Beth are BBFs and all but why isn't Sabrina at the party? How did Carly Beth know Sabrina would be home? Why is Sabrina eating pizza and candy when she just came from a Halloween party? And I don't care if they are friends, it's rude to just walk into someone's house like that! Especially not knowing if they're home or not... Plus where are Sabrina's parents? Argh, so little actual story line! The box opening on its own and the hand coming out was a cool touch... But they're masks so who's hand is that suppose to be? 🤔 The whispering voices were also a nice touch but considering we never saw any "floating" masks (easy enough with a later, a stick, and fishing line) it's very anticlimatic. Not even sure what really happened because it's unclear. 😑 Did the other masks grow bodies and were chasing Carly Beth (would explain the random hand) or did they fly like in the TV show? What happened to the woman in the barn who made them? When Carly Beth comes home, the Mom's "Carly Beth, where the hell have you been?" sounds like she's bored. She should have sounded angry or scared. It throws off the the scene to much... And why does Carly Beth's eye liner look so emo all of a sudden? To dark and to much of a drastic change after not seeing her face after awhile. Should have gradually draken Carly Beth's eye makeup to show her mood changes and stress. And the end... But wait! What happened to the bully that got away? What happened to the other bullie's corpse? What will happen to Carly Beth? Can it be traced back to her that she did it? Not like she wore gloves and she did stab the knife in the ground where she buried her precious necklace... Which the knife was not there when she went back to dig up the necklace... Does Carly Beth even know she killed someone considering she was under the masks spell?? So many unanswered questions! This why I said it's poorly written. All in all; between reasons stated in my comment in part 1, the smoking and drinking in part 2, and the murder I do not feel this video is suitable for children at all... But the Bloopers are funny! They're worth watching at least. Again I want to state that I understand that this video was FANmade and the budget was probably very low. These are solely my opinions and I honestly am not trying to make anyone feel bad or hurt their feelings.
