After being rejected from Investors for lacking Proof he decides to get Rex Mason, his daughter's lover, involved. Rex, unknowingly turned into Metamorpho ; The Very First Meta Human, by Stagg. Rex mistakenly believes his friend has betrayed him due to manipulated evidence and goes to take down Green Lantern and entire Justice League. Now Justice League is upagainst the Very First and Original META Human in Human History.

Not sure if true, but heard this episode had to be altered due to the events of 9/11. That's why you hear about them "stowing" the luggage, which would have happened on the plane. After 9/11, well, it got the Lilo and Stitch movie treatment by altering the scene to a train.

I remember watching this with my oldest son when he was little. He’s now in his early 20s. Just yesterday I watched this episode via my DVD collection and he walked in after coming home from work. We watched it together again. Metamorpho is a powerhouse and John Stewart is my favorite GL. This two part episode was one of the best of the series in my opinion.👍🏾

I hated how they altered his origin. The comic-book origin is much better - transformed by a meteorite inside a lost pyramid, Stagg’s explanation about his transmuted cells, and his vulnerability to the Orb of Ra (a piece of the original meteorite).

Google says cesium reacts with water at -160 degrees, as an example. Subzero, and absolute zero Kelvin are 2 different things. Subzero refers to below (water) freeze point on the Celsius scale, While absolute zero refers to null/zero energy on the Kelvin scale, which is unobtainable because all energy would have to be removed from the universe
