This video is not especially for women but I learned something very important.Three years of lessons and my singing teacher has never told me to be sure to not be airy when doing lip trills. I did it wrong all the time. Thank you so much for telling me the difference.

Thank you so much for these wonderful exercises. I've practiced them for like five times so far and magically my voice is already connected. Sometimes I fail, but my voice has never been that seamless with so little effort.

Thank you both for this video. I love it when people collaborate. I am a regular follower of both of you and this particular one really helped me with the passaggio that has been escaping me. I do have a question though: how do I know if the voice that is in the upper passaggio is not just switching to a falsetto?

very interesting exercices! It seems to me that I'm louder when I come down to my chest voice. Does that seemless voice come eventually with long practice ? Thank you, Gerard

Singing along with this and my voice always cracks on the second note descending due to head voice to chest voice transition if I’m note carefully but ascending from bottom to the top note there’s no crack

Jeff, was successful up to the Ng to ai exercise. My ng keeps breaking around E and F ( the third modulation). Sound just stops. Starts again around G but it is pure falsetto. Got any suggestions?

Learn a bit about your fach. Sounds like you might be a light lyric tenor which has some specific training needs. Discovering this was a game-changer for me.
@paulrusinko6663 жыл бұрын
I have a question about the second exercise and those there after. So when im decending and ascending from head to chest. Am I using a "mixed voice" in the bridge area? Or is a distinct change from head to chest, and chest to head? Thank you.
@paulrusinko6663 жыл бұрын
I guess what im asking am I learning to "shift" between registers, or "transition" between registers.
@moomoo.demarkus5973 жыл бұрын
Yes you have to navigate from head to passagio(mixed) to chest to ascend and descend.

Remember singers, dont take singing advice from "coaches" who cant actually sing. A close second is if they use words like Passaggio, make sure they pronounce it correctly. Dude is mangling the Italian language while claiming to understand Italian singing technique. Fraud.

Most of the video unfortunately is leading into the wrong direction. I am wondering why they do not show the process of covering that is happening from the secondo passaggio. I expected much at the beginning but got disappointed. 🥲

I listened and liked the first most. Of course, Europeans know Iran or "the Persians" are very smart and talented and here again, you could hear that. But no more fighting with the Greek, please.
