Great exercise Jeff. This is perfect for my 15 year old student, who is just developing a comfort level with her vibrato.

Hey Jeff I just wanted to shout you out, as I remembered commenting on one of your videos (perhaps 2 years ago) about an inconsistent vibrato challenge I was having at the time. It truly is amazing your work, your advise was for me was to revisit my engagement and air flow. I'm pleased to say that I have a better handling on the elusive vibrato- it just came about when I was focusing on vowel alignment and engagement exercise. Thank you again Jeff. Looking forward to updating as I go along.

"The Oxford Handbook of Singing." **THUD** 🤣😂😆 Love the humor! That cracked me up. Getting back to the subject at hand now, I have a question in regards to the lip trills. For the life of me, no matter what I try, I can NOT get a lip trill. I have a pretty big overbite and it feels like that's getting in the way when I try it. I end up just getting little puff sounds and nothing that I can keep going. Is there anything else I can do in place of the trill? I just can't make that sound no matter what I do or try. Also, another question, what purpose does the lip trill have? What is it intended to teach? Thanks in advance.

Hi Jeff! Thanks for the videos. It seems to me that the volume is always very low, I have to crank the volume up to max to hear you. It doesn't happen with other videos. Is it only me?
@JeffRolka2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for letting me know! I adjusted the volume recently because I thought I was releasing videos that were too loud. I brought it back up again though a few weeks after this video. Please let me know, however, if it's not right! Jeff
