"Crispy Critters" in Atomic Heart is a strangely benign translation of a quirky catch-phrase the major uses all the time. In russian it's something like "f**king pies". There's a voice log explaining how he' taken a habit of saying that. Certainly a "Holy Toledo!" kind of expression, very goofy

In general, no one in Russia swears like that, this is just a very strange decision of the developers of the game. In short, it's just a weird made-up swear word.
