Taylor wanted Serrano a few years ago, but at 35 and for the title of pound for pound greatest female professional boxer of all time to go along with her greatest female amateur boxer of all time reputation, I think she has the skill to pull it off. Kudos to Jake Paul for getting Amanda Serrano such a huge payday. The hype around Serrano with her many KOs, victories and 7 weight division titles is, to be honest, mostly hype. If you look at Amanda's record you will discover she has fought mostly tomato cans. The won/lost statistics of all of Serrano's combined opponents is laughable. She padded her record beating women with records of 4 wins/25 losses, 9 wins/16 losses, 12 wins/18 losses and on and on. As she was doing this she believed her own hype and agreed to fight Frida Wallberg who was 10-0. Amanda fought well against Frida but lost a unanamous decision to the Swede. In recent years Serrano fought a few good fighters but Katie Taylor has much more experience against quality opposition than Amanda even though Katie has fewer total fights. Amanda almost never defends her titles. Many of these 7 division belts were vacant and easy pickings for a talented female boxer, which Amanda certainly is. Katie Taylor's fight resume is the real deal. She fought top boxers throughout her career. Katie is the naturally bigger fighter who will outweigh Amanda by 15 pounds on fight night. However Serrano has excellent boxing skills, agression and punching power. On paper, considering their true experience vs. top fighters Katie Taylor should cruise to an easy victory. I know Katie has only 6 KOs but that has more to do with her points, amateur style than a lack of power. Taylor hits like a man. I believe Amanda Serrano has an excellent chance to win this fight. I just believe Katie Taylor has a greater chance for victory. My prediction is that Taylor will win by a decision. Should be a great match.

Bullshit of a decision.... I never seen such a close fight, where one fighter was retreating in survival mode during nearly the whole fight... Yes the whole fight Katie was in retreat, as if she knew she was being out-classed. Then, her legs got buckled from a punch at least three to four times and she was almost KNOCKED TF OUT on her feet in the 5th, but even after all of that she still got the NOD... I just ain't never seen such a lopsided scoring decision before, in such an obviously lopsided fight. But I'm really not surprised, because this fight helps to PROVE my theory, that PRO boxing is going in the same direction as the Olympics, where Non White fighters go into a bout at a huge disadvantage on the scorecard. So, more and more in the future, the ONLY way they will be assured a victory, will never be on the scorecard, but by a STOPPAGE, or a flat out total domination like Shakur did against Valdez, where Valdez only won at the most one or two rounds. In this fight Serrano was up 4 to 1 going into the 6th. So, all she really had to do to get a DRAW was to win just one of the last 5 rounds. Winning 2 rounds should have been an easy VICTORY for Serrano... But to add insult to injury, when you go look at their Compubox numbers, 173 total punches landed are FAR MORE than 141 total punches landed, wouldn't you agree? Guess which of those two fighters landed 173 total punches, the WINNER or the LOSER? If you seen the fight with your own two eyes, you already know the answer to that one, and it helps to further make MY POINT... Going into this fight, according to those numbers, it was as if Serrano was HANDICAPPED by at least 34 total LANDED punches, even before the first round got started... UGGH!!! Who can see any FAIRNESS in that? But, the BIGGEST problem I see for the future of boxing is not just that there is more and more FUKERY happening against Black fighters, it's the BLACK "influencers" who are steering their Subscribers into supporting it, as if their asses are being PAID OFF TO DECEIVE ALL OF THESE DUMBASS CASUALS!!!! And WE NEED to at least call all these KZbinrs out, every time they spill out that foul shit. BlueBlood, Black Fight Fan, and Showbiz are notorious for it!!!

I have thought Serrano would win dominantly long before this match was announced. That doesn't necessarily mean knockout, but I think Taylor would get popped and then fight afraid of getting knocked out. In women's boxing Serrano's power is a true game changer, like Nunes' power was a game changer for so long in the UFC. But Katie certainly seems to be more confident. And she seems to welcome this attention. I think Katie certainly won the face off, and the weight cutting. She looks to have a stronger core by a lot. I still think Amanda is going to win. But before the weigh inn I was 80% confident in Amanda. Now I think I'm more about 65-70% confident. She did fight as the co-main event in Jake Paul's match, but the atmosphere is going to be crazy for this fight, especially with all the Irish and Puertico fans. I have a feeling Katie will handle the pressure better, but even with that said, I'm not sure it will be enough. If Serrano comes in even at 80% of her ability I think she wins.

Amanda could not handle the tension, she was first to break the stare and you could see the tension rising, her constant chewing, nodding her hair and the subtle call for a cease fire prior to her break eye contact, she had to release the tension whereas katie knew this and revelled in seeing her crumble right there, that would have helped katies confidence massively
