I feel like they all need each other and it's so wholesome! It feels like Eugene needs them to remind him that he doesn't have to feel pressure to be perfect, Ned needs them to remind him of who he is outside of fatherhood/husband(ness), Keith needs them to remind him that he is more than just funny and Zach needs them to remind him to see that he contributes just as much value as they do. I love their friendship. Eugene is like the cool guy who would have never imagined himself hanging with goofballs but is the only one who could pick on them, and is an inner goof himself. Ned is the clear adult of the group, mostly serious but has his moments, Keith is like the chill guy, he can kind of fit anywhere cause he's just that go with the flow and Zach is the sweetly just himself guy who doesn't care how others see him. Adorable.
