Here's a fun idea to double your content: For every "weird rule change" video, you take the worst team (in this case Nottingham Forest) and try to get a better result for the team with the same rule set. In "commentary only" mode with a lot of delegation, a season can be done in an hour or two.

Yes indeed! There was an issue with the save at the end of season 1 so we had to sort some stuff out ahead of season 2. This meant that i couldn't get a recap done in time for the the stream. The recap for Season 2 will basically be a double length video that covers both of the first 2 seasons. Then after that it'll be back to one every season :)

I think the lower leagues aren't as crazy because the grey filler players are a lot better comparatively to the rest of the team than in the PL. In fact I'd wager getting down to the greyed out players in non-league might even improve the squad.

I love the idea of a world where a player commits a niggly, cynical foul pulling someone's shirt to stop a counter in the first game of the season, the immediate panic knowing their season could be over, and the referees being so ruthless as to still give the yellows that ends seasons as freely as ever.

In this actual world we live in. They cannot guarantee that the same amount of northern and southern teams get relegated and promoted in any specific season. So they rearrange the leagues a little but still need the same number of teams. So the most northern of the southern will play in the northern league and vice versa.

Hi Second yellow card, i love your content, as i recently came across it randomly. I was hoping you could help me out with a small problem. I am trying to use the pre-game editor to edit gibraltar rules that require 5 home grown player to be in the starting 11, but for some reason it isn't allowing me to edit it, as it's part of the other nation category listing and when i try to convert to advanced rules it says the nation must have one league. since you and your editor friend rejigged malta recently, can you help me figure out a way around this? would set up my save for the entire fm24 cycle Thanks!

Hey Kushnal, not really related to your question but I spent 3 weeks creating a custom Gibraltar database with 3 leagues of 20 custom clubs each (60 total), with custom kits, logos etc. There is one or two mistakes here and there, like historic records not showing properly, but its very playable. Squad rules match UEFA competitions as closely as I can make it. If you want, you can use it? All teams start identical (so it's not that difficult initially with a few good transfers) except my 10 original teams from FM22 which have a tiny boost to rep out of nostalgia from me based on historic performance on that previous 10 team save back in 2022. Only other issue is that if you want in game kit colours to match kit images, you'll have to do that yourself, either in the editor or ingame using the ingame editor, I usually change a kit before the first time I play a league game against them. Eventually you'll get everyone.

I think the best route to success would be a tactic with stay on feet as part of it, then low pressing, having ease out tackles on every player, as well as easing of tackles in the opposition instructions, you'd get clapped initially but would make one hell of a comeback!
