My eyes instantly spotted Plymouth Parkway winning the Conference League at 29.55, who I go and watch regularly, and have a friend who plays for them. My local non-league side a couple of minutes up the road from me, who in real life have built from the 10th tier to the 7th tier in under 5 years, and will be aiming to reach the National League South over the next couple of seasons.

With regards to, "imagine being your team's top scorer at two," I remember I did an indoor soccer camp. I was my team's top scorer, as the goalkeeper. Had around four throughout the tournament during the last couple days. We managed a single tie over eight games.

Only familiar with a couple of surprise teams here. Squires Gate are from Blackpool and play in the Northwest Counties Leagues, not sure what league Parkgate are but they are from a small town on the Wirral known for its ice cream parlours.

I’d love to see a database where players are sent back to their last club (Haaland to Dortmund, Andy Robertson to Hull, Grealish to Villa etc). It would be a huge task to do it for every player but maybe every team in English League or the big 5 leagues

Rabo de Peixe winning the 2050/51 title is something that catched my mind - Yes, they are from a town in Sao Miguel island within the Azores and the reason the town's name that way is that their economy is literally based on fishing... And also the whole place smells like fish.

NAC is an abbreviation for NOAD ADVENDO Combinatie, an NOAD and ADVENDO are abbreviations for Nooit Opgeven Altijd Doorzetten Aangenaam Door Vermaak En Nutttig Door Ontspanning, a total of 72 letters.

Shoutout to Rabo de Peixe for appearing! They are a team from the Azores island in Portugal and they are literally the poorest city in the whole country They are notorious for a real life story, which inspired a hit Netflix series. In 2001, a ship transporting 500kg of cocaine with 85% purity, capsized and the drugs washed ashore in the little island of Rabo de Peixe. Official reports say it was 500kg but locals say that is an absurd underestimation and it was well over a ton of cocaine, all washed ashore on Rabo de Peixe. The locals, who mostly consisted of fishermen and their families who never left that island their whole lives, had no idea what cocaine was so when all those drugs washed ashore, they started taking it home, kilos and kilos of it. They started using it as flour to fry fish, they used it as sugar to sweeten coffee and cakes and drinks, they gave it to children if theh were feeling sick. They had no idea what it was, let alone the devastating effects it has. When reports of this incident and what was going on there got to mainland Portugal, obviously the police and coast guard stepped in and aprehended what they could and attempted to inform the population of what it was and that they should not consume it. Obviously by that point it was too late as many locals were already addicted to the substance and the damage was done. What was already the poorest town in Portugal became even worse as it seemed like the whole town were in one way or another affected. Some overdosed and died, others were addicted and when they couldn't get anymore they suffered serious health problems from withdrawal, kids who were given it at a young age had developmental issues and basically a majority of the town under the influence of cocaine stopped working which is extremely dangerous when you are already living in the poorest place in Portugal. The effects are still felt today, 22 years later.

This is beyond genius. I am in the 23/24 season I am Malmesbury Victoria (who knew???). With 10 more games to go I am 4 points off of European qualification. I started with a budget of £35 million with a bunch of amateurs and spent £135 million. Chasetown (???), one of the other promoted teams sits at the bottom on 0 pts and minus 180 goal difference. Surprise candidate for relegation, Newcastle. This is the save I'm taking through to FM24. This is the save that will keep on giving. Thank you 😊

Toledo is not just a place in Ohio, but a quite important city in Spain (mainly centuries ago; currently is has barely 80k people) whose name was, indeed, used to name the city in America. I suspect the reason you get situations with sides that come up, quickly to well, win then get insta relegated is down to team's somewhat deciding how good another team is based on Rep. Essentially, the promoted teams plays really well as a counter attacking side when teams play super offensive against them because they are seen as total garbage. When they win the league, they get a massive reputation dump, most of the teams suddenly start playing far more defensive against them and they get destroyed because they don't have a sort of team able to break down solid defenses.

Could this work in an international context as well? Like maybe start with the "European Super League" teams but have 3 relegation spots, chosen from the pool of literally every single team in existence which isn't in the Super League? Or, if it's an issue because of mixing nations in a league, maybe make a cup competition like that somehow? I'd love to see some obscure lower league amateur side from St. Vincent and the Grenadines become the biggest team in the world

It can sort of be done, but all the clubs would have to be moved to one nation for a league to work. We are however working on a massive cup one that can draw teams from all over the world randomly into like an 80 cup that has a group stage!
