I met Trinny at a Trinny tribe event in Sydney and she’s so warm , vivacious, generous and authentic with everyone she meets. She puts you at ease. That’s not the ‘norm’ always with someone of her caliber or fame. I loved her on your show too, just brilliant.

Oh there are so many people I've changed my mind about, usually from dislike to like and seldom the other way round. I think that's a good thing. But it might be to do with age. The frightful intolerance of youth to the mellowing of the passing years. But if someone behaves disgracefully to a talk show host, I literally can't watch them again. Mark Wahlberg and Matthew Perry spring to mind.
@threestepssideways1202Ай бұрын
Same. I presume it is because the excesses of his personality have mellowed with age. I found him too abrasive in the past, too in people's faces, almost 'me, me, me, look, hear, see me'. Seems to me as I grow older I can appreciate a personality that isn't necessarily my cup of tea because of that aforementioned mellowing, to both the person and also myself. I think Nick is now one of those people who I can truly appreciate in small doses, see the real them come forth, and enjoy the experience. Nick to me would be a friend who I could have enjoyable lunch with rather than each of us having to suffer through a long weekend together. Horses for courses.

My father, brothers and husband were/are all flirts. One is left. One sister is also a flirt, and my mother would flirt. It used to drive my mother crazy, but she must have been unaware that she flirted. Flirting is not necessarily a prequel to a relationship. It is about the exchange. Like a comedy routine, and the people flirting as well as those watching/listening enjoy the exchange. When one is in a relationship, it should not be assumed that a big part of their personality should be harnessed or muffled. It is done, too often, but is terribly unhealthy. It is not a threat, not a reflection of attraction, it is a very friendly exchange. There is a line that should not be toyed with, or crossed. Flirting does not imply they would. Or wouldn’t.

I rarely comment here but it always fascinates me how 'white women' do everything to get tan skin, meanwhile my people from South East Asia are OBSESSED with 'white' skin, I'm not even talking about fair complexion, some go the extra mile to have white skin by having those injectable glutathione and all that. When I started living here London in 2020, I realised 'Oh gosh, I am finally in the right place as everyone absolutely loved my 'natural tan' Filipino brown skin!' hahahah So going back to the original comment on @FishareFriendsNotFood972 I also do hope the younger women in my country realise that having all of these medical products/ procedures to getting 'fair' or 'white skin' is not worth it..

About Meg Ryan - After watching this conversation, I went back to the original fragment, and was really surprised. To be honest, me and all the other people commenting underneath that video, thought one thing and one thing only: he was asking terrible questions, he was being very intense, did a completely shit job, and has had no right telling people how horrible the conversation was because it was 100% his fault. Just coming back here because I feel this needs to be put right. With 2024 eyes, we would see this as toxic masculinity or at least as very invasive typical bulshit male behaviour. The parts where Parkinson dragged Trinny/Susannah into the conversation was also very insulting. You should watch the fragment and see for yourself, it's astounding. Can't believe Trinny hasn't gone back to correct herself. I know in the 2000s we were not as good in seeing these things, but she shouldn't go around repeating this man's opinions without checking on herself.
