Aisling is a joy to watch! Funny, quick witted and a great storyteller like all good comedians. But also gorgeous, sweet and unaffected. Irish humour is 👌... She and her sister playing the potato game! 🤣

Love Aisling. I remember her appearance on Kimmel in her hotel bathrobe. I think that was probably to her benefit - it made her appearance especially memorable, because no one had ever done that before. I have to say, it makes me chuckle whenever celebs from elsewhere talk about being in LA. The LA that they experience is nothing like the LA that we average residents experience - they may as well be different planets.

She's such a good sport. Honestly, you should have more Irish people on. So many are such a delight (Nicola Coughlan would be a hoot). On a random note, I love Aisling's love for Sean Hayes... I don't have my username for nothing 😂

In case anyone's interested and doesn't know: the reason it's Nisswahz is that salade is feminine so it's Nicoise with an e not Nicois. If salade was masculine then it would be pronounced Nisswah. The general rule is that if a consonant is the final letter it's not pronounced (occasionally it is though) but if a vowel is the final letter the preceding consonant is pronounced (this always applies).

I've written this elsewhere, but i'll do it again: Aisling is maybe the 'most alive' person in the world. I wonder if it's just when she's 'on,' or if it's an all day, every day thing. Love her, but she would wear me out. I'm fully on-board with the potato love, though. Fully. And something about myself that i didn't even recognize until i was in my 40s-no matter what meal is on my plate, the first bite i take is of the potato. It used to be unconscious, now it's _protocol._ // re: Los Angeles - i think it's only like that ("health+ambition") if you're only hanging with other celebs. I lived in Los Feliz for eight years after 30 in NYC and didn't find it at all overwhelming or overbearing re: health or ambition. But, maybe coming from midtown Manhattan readied me for LA? Either way, i am not healthy, and didn't gain ambition.... LA lets you live the way you want to live. Shop at Ralph's or Von's if you want. No one has to go to Whole Foods or Sarah's Beanstalkery.
