They only retain passport of laborers, technicians, housemaids, etc. not those in management and whites, also if it is foreign companies located in the Guft, they don’t retain the employment passports. Mine is Dans. I had been living in Qatar, our passports always remained with us since the first day we arrived to Bahrain, then Qatar.
