Have few questions 1. If the elements in chromosphere absorb light from certain wavelength to get excited, wouldn't it get emitted while it goes back to stable state? And result in us seeing light of that wavelength also? Or they stay excited? And new elements that get created are the reasons for continued absorption? 2. Why does the light from Sun contains all wavelengths? Why isn't it quantized?

ഒരു സംശയം. സൂര്യന്റെ പ്രകാശത്തിന്റെ spectrum വെച്ചാണല്ലോ മൂലകം കണ്ടെത്തിയത് എന്ന് പറയുന്നത്. ഇപ്പോൾ ഒരു മൂലകം അബ്സോർബ് ചെയ്ത spectrum പിന്നീട് അത് emit ചെയ്യില്ലേ? ആ emit ചെയ്ത പ്രകാശം ഭൂമിയിലേക്ക് വരില്ലേ. അപ്പോൾ നമുക്ക് spectrum ത്തിൽ ആ ബ്ലാക്ക് ലൈനുകൾ കാണാനാകില്ലല്ലോ???
