Thanks Marilyn. Yes it was very refreshing. I wasn't sure if I would swim but I'm so glad I did. It was the perfect way to end a lovely little trip to Cornwall.

Loved watching this. The beaches looked gorgeous. Must have been lush to have the last one to yourself like that. Glad I came across your channel. I look forward to seeing more of your content. Have a great weekend.

Yes it's always a special moment when you find somewhere beautiful and there's not a soul around. I wish I could have spent more time there than I did. Thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment. I love to read the nice things people say.

Beautiful and lush area. I envy you the swim. We had to hurry for the last ferry before low tide 😳😁

Too often the case. Even on the coast path we work to deadlines. Even that day i was driving hime so had to cut it short. The walk in the book mentions somewhere for refreshments and was planning to do the whole experience. Still a fabulous day though.

@@JoeCoastal that I believe 😁 We had an accommodation reservation in Mawnan Smith and had no choice but taking that ferry. But next year I think we will be able to take a couple of dips after arriving at our destinations 😊👍🏻

That's good planning. And i suggest you include your swim in your videos. It appears people like that bit.

@@JoeCoastal hehe, if I swim I will include it in my video. Thank you for the tip.😊

Was it cold Joe. Good physique. I think I prefer open walks and dry paths to trees and shade but it looks peaceful there.

It wasn't too cold. I think that camera was kind to my body. Having just returned from a 12 night all you can eat cruise I can assure you I don't look that good right now 🤣 it was a lovely place and a great ending to a fantastic week in cornwall. I can't wait to get back there.

I`ve been to Trebah beach on the other side. That is very nice.

The book does have a similar walk on the other side of the river that includes that beach. Perhaps I'll do that one next time I'm in the area.

@@JoeCoastal I`ll best subscribe then. Cheers mate.

Thanks. Not promising that one anytime soon but hopefully next summer. Obviously plenty of other beautiful beaches around the west country in the meantime though.

@@JoeCoastal No problems mate. We only have Skegness round here lol. I miss Cornwall. Haven`t been for over 15 years. We used to go to Mullion camp site and spend time at Kynance Cove. That is my fav beach with the cafe,

I've never been to "skeggy". I'll visit one day. I stayed at what used to be called Mullion holiday park this year. A very conveniently located place. I found I could reach everywhere on a bus from there. Quite handy when you're walking.
