@@JoeCoastal We did the northern lights coach trips in Tromsø and Alta. Unfortunately cloudy nights on both trips got the better of us on both days. However we did get a few good sighting of the northern lights we few evenings from the ship, and the ship had a dedicated TV channel for anybody that wanted to get notified of NL activity in their cabins over night. The lack of daylight didn’t take away from the magic of Norway in any way. Everything in Norway just seems to carry on as normal during the dark days. I guess it’s business as usual here, even with -12C temperatures during the day! There’s still a few hours of dusky light from around 12:00 to 13:30. However almost all houses have Christmas lights, which are on 24 hours a day which mitigates the darkness.

You are such a credit to Devon. You make me long for my next visit :) Where did you find that great song by Bo The Drifter? He's a ghost on the internet. No social media or website...just nothing.
@JoeCoastal2 ай бұрын
Thanks. Is he really? Genuinely a drifter then I suppose. I'm subscribed to a website called epidemic sound. It's where content creators can get royalty free music. Bo has quite a few tracks on there. My sister thought it was a bad idea using that track as the lyrics are a bit negative. Personally I love the laid back way and ponderous flow to it and I that was a perfect match for the footage.

@@JoeCoastal Just beautiful footage! And "negative" can be ok. It was soulful :) It worked. I looked quite a bit. Pretty much all I found was the stuff on Epidemic Sound. He seems to be in the US, so I was trying to see if he tours (FYI...if you recall, I'm the American that was asking you for local advice about Weymouth back in June/July...I just changed my handle).
