Ahaaaaa. Now i know how it works. I am just experiment with side chains signal on the drum and bass. Even one with pad and rhythm. I have a lot to learn. Thanks for the information. Tomorrow i will try to use your tip in my mix.

Love the ducking to block the vocal reverb delay but keep the tail with 5 seconds! Wow it seems wat to long but I guess you subtract length of singing that vocal so so it’s more like 2sec long?

This video is a good example that technique should serve the vibe. When Streaky bypassed SC compressors I liked it more.

Exactly...To my ears ,not bypassed but maybe little less gain reduction instead works just fine, coz the sc compressor made the vox sound so dry and like no verb or delay added imo

Yes, the technique is good I just prefer less ducking and little bit more of the reverb and delay between the phrases.

Wow! Great video Streaky! The compression trick on the bus is a game changer!! I have a question... I have the same female singing the main vocals and 3 harmony vocals. So i have 4 vocal tracks. But on the reverb BUS, i only can only side chain one vocal track on the compressor. So how do i route all my vocals to the same reverb bus and side chain all the vocal tracks? Should I add 3 more side chain compressors - one for each harmony track?

Send main + harmony vocals to a BUS and use the BUS as sidechain signal for reverb and delay tracks... so one compressor per FX track is enough... simple :)
