Good to know I wasn't really supposed to do this at lvl49-50, odin and alexander were horrible, gilgamesh "only" took two or 3 tries, but he was a 20+ minute fight

Dynamic difficulty ngl i was at 45 and got killed easy, came back at 50 and did it on 1 try. Def took like 15 minutes Cloud, Yuffie, Aerith focus on fire attacks Magnify-Manawall Magnify-Healing Elemental-Thunder and Wind Rerise materia lv. 3 limit breaks

You can literally just read the bottom left to see if you can throw or retrieve the shuriken. If it says "throw".....then its not on him.....

i fought him on Dynamic mode, only dealt 2-3 dmg.. switch to easy, then boom so easy 😂😂

Highly recommend being over 50. You level up faster if you beat the game and unlock chapter select.

Wait, was I supposed to beat the game first before I do this? I just beat Gilgamesh after....a long tiresome stretch. I'm level 51 currently, and I fought him as soon as I unlocked this battle.

@mondragonmsaul308 aerith helps a lot. I used faith to make Cloud or aerith's magic up as he's weak to fire. Tifa as the staggering God queen and avoiding his attacks. Firaga spam with arcane ward helped on my second playthrough. It always sucks on the first playthrough, but you just have to practice and learn his patterns. Perfect block helps with pressuring so much. But that firaga spam is what saved me. Limit caused immediate pressure, too. So if you do it during his finishing move, you'll immediately pressure him, and he resets. If you have a limit, just use it on him.

So I am the type who’s trying to do it in Chap 12. I have all the world intel. All the summons. But I can’t get past the double bosses. 1. Is it possible to finish it all in Chap 12? 2. Is this wise to do or just wait to finish the rest then get it. 3. Um, yea, duh we absolutely want the breakdown for the double summons lololol

1. Technically yes but you need to be leveled up a ton 2. Personally found it easier after returning with chapter select 3. We will look into doing it 👍

Does it matter to unlock him on different difficulties? I defeated him on easy mode, and i checked the summon level is 1 star.

No you can not level the summon up so if you wish to beat him on easy then it’s perfectly ok. We do all our guides on normal to give a little more challenge and also help prep for the brutal challenges unlocked after.

I've done all the protorelic missions, beat all the summons, I am just about to start chapter 13 but when I go to the location for Gilgamesh there is no cave just a couple of statues

Did you get the cut scene to open the route to him? If not then you're missing a protorelic. Probably the desert one.

@@GetPhiledIn no I didn't get a cut scene with a cave opening but I have 100% done in all regions, I did the first 2 desert ones in an earlier chapter and just finished the last 2 in the desert a few hours ago

If you are having trouble with the protorelic stuff, turn it to easy (game settings) when doing that. Won’t change anything for rewards but makes it much less stressful
