You have done an amazing job and I absolutely love your bird bath with the lady figures. I have two stone planters, bought from an elderly neighbour, that have ladies holding hands and dancing around them. I shall treasure them always - I even bring them inside for the Winter as I know stone can flake or deteriorate under harsh conditions.

Oh, and it is important to know that homes built in the Edwardian era have some Victorian features that have been carried over. This is so beautiful Jayne. Such a labour of love. I grew up in a Victorian/Edwardian terraced house. When my parents bought it all the interior woodwork was painted in a very dark maroon colour! I’m sure it took a lot of determination to cover that up. Your determination has certainly paid off in what you’ve done so far. ❤

Wow wow and WOW. ❤ the little touches and the attention to detail 👌. A little tip on the weeds in the gravel. My 91 year old Mom taught me many years ago. When you boil the kettle for a cuppa take the extra water and pour over the weeds. For a little garden like yours it works perfectly and besides its environmentally friendly and won’t harm your little kitty. Look forward to your next inspirational video. 🤗

Hi Jayne, there is a way to stop the weeds. Lift up all the pretty pebbles, dig out about another inch of soil from your pathways, lay down builders plastic or garbage bags and then put down more pebbles.

Love to see it all coming together for you. Both you and your son have really worked hard and your mum and friends chipping in too. Amazing. Wherever I have lived I've always done a bit of the garden first. My thought being, it would be good for the soul. Somewhere to retreat to when renovations are going on and you need a break and an uplift. Again, it so reminds me of my terraced house. My cat loved it and we put up a wide shelf on the wall for her to snooze on in the shade and amongst the plants. It's all looking so lovely. ❤
