Secret Developer Areas in Fallout 76

I think the ‘Expo’ areas you were showing off are for the expeditions or like test zones cause the one you showed off had a low level build of the washington monument. Maybe it was to show off the possibility of returning to the Capital Wasteland, The Commonwealth and other areas but was scrapped. Haven’t touched 76 in a couple years so seeing this stuff is cool. Yeah, I definitely think you are right on that. They remind me of the starting areas for stuff like The Pitt and Atlantic City. Even has the Vertibird right near where he spawns into the maps every time.

Fun Fact: Back in the early days of 76 (Around a year in, around the time of Vault Raids where a thing) there were was a fully fleshed out interior to the Vault in the ash heap (I know because i glitched in there). the layout of which was never used. Also the Cryo Vault in the Savage Divide had a also complete interior where at the start you would find a crate full with special "Metabolic Syringers" and at the end of said Vault there was an uncomplete room with a terminal that said something along the lines of "Your not supposed to be in here shithead". I'm not sure if there are any remaining pictures of these as its been years and i've seen next to know one talk about it. Incase anyone is wondering how i know this, there used to be a power armor glitch that allowed you to phase past walls and into the load zones of these Vaults, Locked doors, ect. Sadly i'm on xbox and completely forgot to back these images and clips up before the media wipe a year or two back.

I got into the cryo vault before years ago but didn't find the syringers or terminal

@@FaJlout Syringers where in small metal crates by the front of the vault as soon as you passed the load zone of the locked vault door and the terminal was all the way at the very end of the vault right infront of a mirelurk queen and a elevator, the area of which looked entirely different from the rest of the Vault. (Note: this was back in like the first couple of months to like a years, somewhere around 2019 Q1 - Q3)

Those expo locations as people said seem like expedition locations. The first one very much resembles an area in DC or gives the implication of it. And the second honestly reminds me quite a bit of downtown Chicago. The third definitely was never shown off at a gameshow given how urban it is, but I'd guess probably also another major city. This stuff rocks lmfao

Absolutely huge mistake not having shadows render on interiors, hated that so much in 76 compared to Fallout 4 which has interior shadows.

6:53 Fun fact about the detonate hatch, it was a random event in fallout 4 where a scavenger would guard it so it's most likely a reuse of old asset.

No wonder the game size is so a massive file size Because Todd forgot to remove all the unused and unnecessary Devs testing area. Usually game dev remove those staff before releasing the game only keeping few testing area for testing weapons and npcs and scripts . But nope in Todd game we got a whole new world just for testing and non testing.
