9:35 My interpretation of Act 3 is that Ultra M, after noticing that Pico was near the hivemind, he sends MX, his strongest puppet to stop him, but somehow Pico managed to make MX come to his senses and break Ultra M's control over him (hence why the eyes in MX's body dissapear), which is why the song becomes calmer with Pico and MX singing together instead out trying to outsign eachother, and MX being thankful of being free, lets Pico disrupt the hivemind, allowing all the other puppets to be free.

My interpretation on how you get this song: Beat the Unbeatable. If you have 90% all the songs from each world, you would get a special item to beat each member. Like a zapper gun, axe, fire flower, boot and hammer. Once you beat them, you gain an extra life and go to Bonus World. Both of those ideas sound cool and would work, I also think there should be a bonus world with 5 songs, levels basically recapping all the opponents like 5 lengthy songs just featuring everyone we’ve seen in the overworld like starting with Irregular Isle level which would be around 5 minutes, then the Woodland Of Lies level I think would go up to 9 minutes, and then the Content Cosmos level would be in between with 7 minutes, then the Hellish Heights level reaching for 12-ish minutes and the Classified Castle level being around 6 minutes This would be set up like a pipe in front of the All Stars Level and would be set up in a Star Format which after you beat all of them, the pipe you enter will start to corrupt and once you enter, you’re taken to the path that leads up to Secret Exit I’m sorry for this giant reply I just had this idea off the top of my head

I love Ultra M's face ripping open to show the other characters that make up his form here, like in base all stars you kinda got the feeling he only pulled them off the bench either to distract BF to kill GF or towards the end when BF is rapping so hard he just can't force him to lose So the fact that UM here just goes full mask off and is calling everyone not only off the bench but physically bringing them out of himself to help shows how desperate he is to not lose. I wonder if in a world where we knew how the other characters felt about Ultra M controlling them, would we see those characters get called in and try and escape while UM just has them out.

Ah, I can imagine the song going like this: Act 1 would take place in an area similar, but noticeably different to the one in All-Stars, Act 2 would also take place in a similar area it does in All-Stars, with some slight changes. Act 2.5 would start off in the dark with Girlfriend facing Ultra M away from the camera, and on the beat drop the scenery would be slightly more visible, but still dark, similar in brightness to Act 3 in All-Stars. When Girlfriend gets the super star, there will be a cutscene portraying that part, and she’ll also be invincible, meaning you can’t die when you miss x amount of notes, but it will affect your accuracy heavily. When Boyfriend enters through a pipe and joins Girlfriend in Act 3, he’ll be right by her side, and the screen will split, similarly to how it does in the final part of Act 4 in All-Stars. After Act 3, the screen will fade to black, and a cutscene will show Pico running in a seemingly endless hallway until he comes across a pipe, which he enters, and while walking while singing after exiting the other end of the pipe, he encounters MX, in Act 4. Act 4 takes place inside Ultra M, and MX is one of the strongest slaves of his he has left at his disposal, so he’s essentially his internal body guard. Ultra M has nearly full control of him, explaining the eyes all over MX’s body, but eventually relinquishes control to focus on Boyfriend and Girlfriend. Pico would be on the left side while MX would be on the right. In the second half of Act 4 Pico would be on the right while MX would be on the left chasing him in the same manner he chased Boyfriend in Demise. When Act 4 ends, it fades to black, and Act 5 begins. It’s a grayish/whitish background, and starts off with the camera facing Boyfriend rising on a pipe, then Girlfriend comes into frame on a rising pipe a few seconds later next to Boyfriend. Ultra M’s dialogue begins, and that cutscene is similar to Act 4’s of Ultra M in which it’s black and white. After his dialogue it cuts to Boyfriend singing with the camera still directly facing him. A shadow will rise on Boyfriend’s body, the camera would do a smooth 180, and Ultra M’s final form is shown. The camera is directly behind Boyfriend and Girlfriend as they sing while it’s facing Ultra M in his entirety, and behind Ultra M is the inside of the TV screen he drug Boyfriend, Girlfriend, and Pico into. That’s the way out. Later on in the song Boyfriend gets impaled and dies, but a moment later a cutscene shows Pico emerging from a pipe next to Boyfriend with a 1-up. He throws the 1-up in the air, it lands on Boyfriend, the spike that impaled Boyfriend breaks, there’s life in Boyfriend’s eyes, he looks at Pico, and is ready to continue singing. When the cutscene ends, Pico begins singing, but Ultra M isn’t on screen. He slowly rises up when it’s his turn to sing, looking defeated, but isn’t even close to giving up. Later into the song as he’s mimicking previous characters voices you can see those characters faces in Ultra M’s face. They’re not against you, but Ultra M is making them sing against you against their will, and are on your side. When they each finish singing, you’ll notice them turn into a blueish soul, leaving Ultra M. When it comes to characters with mechanics, such as attacks that you have to press the space bar for and those that try to mess you up, those will be in effect, and some examples of those are Turmoil’s tongue attack, DJ Hollyboo’s drawing, Mr. Virtual’s screen moving and monitor highjacking, MX’s Pow, Mr. SyS’s Don’t Miss, etc. Oh also, when you’re singing with Boyfriend, Girlfriend, and Pico, each of them will have their own binds. Boyfriend’s binds would be T,F,G,H, Girlfriend’s would be I,J,K,L, and Pico’s would be W,A,S,D. The reason they have those binds is to add even more of a challenge to the song, and each one represents where they are, meaning Pico’s on the left, Boyfriend’s in the middle, and Girlfriend’s on the right. After the final note of Act 5 is sung, Ultra M falls, and the screen goes black. A few moments later, the final part of the song plays, as well as a cutscene. Boyfriend, Girlfriend, and Pico fly out of the TV. With tears in their eyes and filled with anger, they smash the game cartridge, along with the console furiously, breaking it into pieces. After doing so they give each other a giant hug with teary filled eyes. They leave their house, and as they’re about to go into a store, they come across Daddy Dearest standing outside. Girlfriend profusely screams at him telling him how they almost died because of the person he sealed away in that cartridge, and also tells him he should be thankful Boyfriend saved her life. Her dad walks over to Boyfriend and hugs him. Taken by surprise, Boyfriend takes a second to hug him back. After the hug’s over, they smile at each other, and then Daddy Dearest kicks Boyfriend in the nuts LOL. The camera zooms out, and then after the last note of the song, the screen immediately turns black. PS: I’ve been listening to this song at least three weeks after it came out, and I absolutely love it so much! It’s become one of, if not my favorite song throughout all of Friday Night Funkin’. I came up with most of this idea a few minutes before typing it all out, and I enjoyed explaining it in-depth a lot. And also, the song could be unlocked by FC’ing all of the songs in the mod, including Unbeatable without Botplay, or to make it even harder, 100% all of the songs without Botplay. I also think it’d be great for the Mario’s Madness team to use your sprites used in the video, especially Ultra M in Act 5. All of the art used in the video aren’t even recolors and are fully on characters redrawn with design changes, especially Act 5 Ultra M, which looks amazing. It's simply near perfect. Sorry I have no critiques other than it's a bit confusing what's happening, but still, it's so good. The last stretch where M prevents them from getting out, and hearing the "Time's almost up!" jingle (my headcanon is that the song was never planned to go on this long so M didn't think to make it longer.) just gave me shivers. Aftermath headcanon: When the trio escape, its not only just them, Ultra M's power begins to decrease as his "puppets" start breaking their strings and enter into the real world, M is defeated, and is also thrown out of the TV. All the puppets gather and nearly pummel M down when suddenly..GF comes into the place and lets a hand out for M. Now realising that it has been 30 years since his imprisonment, M finally lets go of his avengance and accepts GF's hand. Fast forward 2 days later, we see the trio sitting on a couch, along with M. Everyone else in M.M? Theyre either causing chaos, stealing stuff, watching movies, etc. And Mr. Sys, along with his buddies, becomes the co-director and CEO of Nintendo, everything is peaceful.. that is, until the doorbell is heard and Pico opens the door, revealing everyone with presents, snacks, drinks, etc.. it was gonna be one hell of a celebration, and M, this time, was invited. The trio, M and his puppets began celebrating around the town for hours, days, even a year, perhaps.. Soon, everyone went their separate ways, and the trio now happily live in their homes forever safe. As for M, he's now the main mascot for an upcoming attraction at the Super Mario world park, at universal. FIN Edit: also, Mr. Sys allowed Logan Thirtyacre to keep using Nintendo plushies. This has to be the greatest FNF Remix of all time. For starters, the fact that Ultra M and his minions, OMEGA and his creations all have the Odyssey Wedding Style, all dressed in nice and formal clothes, and then the icons of the imitations later being restyled to fit that. Second, the fact that GF gets her own official part and goes freaking Super Star Mode against Ultra M is insane. The shock and anger in Ultra M’s voice when he realizes this, sort of like how Xenophanes panics in Final Escape when BF goes Super Mode. Next, Pico having his own special section after having escaped Mr. L, only to run into what we can only infer as the Hivemind, where he runs into MX, who’s now under Ultra M’s control. Now I will admit, I wasn’t expecting MX to show up, but the fact that they battled each other is a nice touch because it feels like a sort of Deja Vu feeling. If anyone is confused, I’m referring to when Pico fought against the malicious entity in MX’s technical first mod which pitted him against Pico. And then, when the eyes of MX vanish. At first, I didn’t get this, but after seeing a few opinions, I can see how it would be possible for Pico to have damaged Ultra M’s control of the Hivemind, which led to more peaceful interactions between the two. And then, there’s the final confrontation between Ultra M and the FNF Trio, in which the voices of the many characters sing for themselves, rather than under Ultra M’s own voice. And then, that great ending where the three of them escape, and although M remains trapped in the cartridge, at least he can take time to think about how he should’ve tried to retaliate against Daddy Dearest instead of endangering his daughter. All these different components together… It’s insane, honestly… excellent work, Raul. Extra Message: “All FNF Fans, Please Rise for Mario’s Madness National Anthem.”

From the instrumental, to the art used, to the new leitmotifs (I love that “Die Young” is heard in Super Bad Mario’s part), to the fact that pretty much every MM character is given some sort of cool new recolouring or outfit (I also love how Omega is wearing one of the band member’s outfits from Odyssey (I think)) , the fact that pretty much every MM character’s vocals and even some of their voice lines get used here, to the way the final 3 acts differ from the OG track in both tone and direction, with Pico going up against and managing to fight off MX in 4, Gf getting to pop off in 2.5/3 and the trio coming together to triumphantly stand against M, to the fact that M’s voice lines here sound super accurate, to the overall polish this song has, sounding just as official as other MM songs…this right here, is PEAK FNF. This is just as, IF NOT BETTER than All Stars.

Honestly, this is just such a perfect cover. Everything just gives off "true ending" vibes, from the alternate outfits (I'd love to shake the hand of whoever decided to put M in the Tux), to the battle starting in the first battle arena, to having MX duel Pico and the souls singing by themselves for their own freedom. Everything was executed so well, and it feels like it wraps up every loose end from the mod in such a perfect way while still delivering that happy ending. Hats off to the team that produced this. If I may ask, why are Horror Peach/Yoshi.exe and L is Real Luigi not included in the final mimic section with the other souls? Their exclusion seems odd given everyone else shows up there.

Crazy how this manages to fix quite a lot of my issues with All Star, namely the lack of closure on Pico and a bigger focus on the actual Mimic aspect of Ultra M, both through visual changes and Act 4 as a whole! Having him in the Wedding Outfit manages to keep around the Odyssey influence whilst also giving Ultra M a more unique design to just another Mario Horrorbrew.

I'm absolutely in love with secret exit. It's the most perfect alternative ending for Mario's madness. I really like the fact that the song starts in It's a me scenario, like if the beginning was the end, and also i really like Pico apparition in the song. And i think i cannot say nothing else than perfection with act 5, one last epic battle against ultra M and his mimics from every single character of Mario's madness to escape from that nightmare. I can see why this song was delayed so much. The amount of passion in this is astonishing. This is gonna be a long comment so brace yourselves everyone: Firstly, The designs. Whoever thought of having Ultra M in the wedding outfit for the finale, you are the greatest person to ever live. Not only is that the final outfit you get before the finale, but it falls in line with the theme of Odyssey that Ultra M was based on. Let’s also not forget Omega in the New Donk City band clothes. And of course the characters having white to fit Ultra M’s outfit. Speaking of which, once the fourth act occurred I was not expecting to see *EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER FROM THE MOD TO MAKE AN APPEARANCE.* From Chris Pratt to The Costume, everyone was not left out and I loved it. It’s a perfect way for them to get one final send off before the curtain closes. And last but certainly not least, MX getting his entire section was a welcomed addition. Makes sense since he’s the fan favorite of the Mario Exes (I think). Now let’s go over the main Funkin Trio. Firstly I love the Pico chromatics. They’re my second favorite chromatics for him (first being the ones from Gamebreaker). I love the little fake out with BF on where he dies thinking it would end there, only for Pico to pull a clutch and revive BF. Next we have GF for her own section with Ultra M and gaining the Star powers. All of it was just chef’s kiss. But we can’t talk about them without talking about the main man himself: Boyfriend. The final solo he has before the song ends was like him getting the last laugh before escaping. Extra salt to wound and I love it. And once the finale hit, I love how the tempo speeds up like what happens in a Mario level. Just a sprinkle of fan service to make it all the more better. Overall, this song was definitely worth the wait. In all honesty, this is what the ending of Mario’s Madness should’ve been. Not to say that the ending was awful, far from it in fact. I just prefer this over the one we got. With that being said, Shoutouts to Raul and all the amazing people that helped him work on this song. My hat tips off to you. I hope all of you get some good sleep after all this, because y’all deserve it 😁✌🏻✨
