Your description is easy to understand and most of them just talk and talk and the end can't stitch together. we should first know what the role of each function is and do we need it or not for certain videos etc. Thanks for the videos

Makes sense! I can see how that would be helpful. I think honk my use case is a lot different than most people who like filmic pro. It really appeals to the hobbyist filmmaker space while I use it exclusively for business and content marketing efforts.

@@ContentCreationWithMatt never had any issues, used RODE wireless go and recently the small Boya. Sometimes the screen on the watch is freezing up... then you need to restart all. But rarely. Works just fine for me as one man youtuber :)

There’s many ways to record sounds but it matters why you need it. For example if it’s just for a sound effect for a fun video project your phone will work but if you need professional recording for work project or client work then a Zoom H6 is amazing.

Hi Mathew. Thank you for your informative video. I am just starting to use Filmic Pro. The audio level sliders of the Filmic Pro on my iPhone 11 Pro used to be on the ride side of the screen. After playing around with the app, the audio level sliders is now shown inside the time box. How can I get it back to the right side of the screen?

You can tap the waveform to change the display and there are settings to embed time codes in the videos. Personally I start recording from multiple sources at the same time then drop the files on top of each other inside premiere pro right click and use “synchronize” to line them up easily

Hey Matt! So the zoom control the slider to the left of the audio levels. I do NOT have that. I use to but ever since i upgraded my phone to an iphone 12 pro i no longer have the zoom slider. Do you know i can get that back? Makes it hard to zoom in while recording on a golfer for example. Thanks

Why can’t you use the zoom wheel with smart 5 . That’s useless if I can’t use it with the wheel there’s no way you’re going to be moving around trying to keep steady and expect to adjust the zoom in the in the software not gonna happen

No idea what smart 5 is Larry! I’d never try to do zoom pulls without a tripod or stabilizer. There’s some crazy awesome stabilization updates for iPhones though inside FP that blew me away! There’s lag in the preview while using but it was crazy how stable the footage was during hand held.

you might be interested in an app called Cinematch... with the app you use the log v3 function of Filmic Pro and you can match iphone12max footage to the Arri Alexa cam.. getting an iphone 12max to emulate a $70K Arri Alexa is pretty cool and the footage looks great

I liked the focus pulling but I still have issues with slog3 it flattens colors and it looks like its much brighter than the usual standard profileI . I played with saturation to bring the colors back and lowered the Exposure then I exported to my iPhone Albums and used the color on my iPhone . Can u demo slog3 coloring to match up rec 709?

@@ContentCreationWithMatt no, most updates seem to be features Apple added to their platform, having a feature like live streaming, greenscreen video or live fx like snapchat/ig etc are things we see added in 360 - action and most new real cameras and phones lol So how does filmic pro contribute in 2022 by only having 1990s in camera basic video functions? Even holywood alexa film-digital cameras have live fx features at 4-8k now. If your channel is realy about business try zoom 😝
