I know right, I want other people to enjoy but I hate when I pull up and someone else is in my spot lol. I stayed for about 20 more minutes and he hadn't caught anything when I left and yes I see gators all the time. There is a huge one in the pond in this video.

its so funny they can hear you and there going ok he done bragged lets make him look back then send in mikey cause he will eat anythng and small lol , yes get your self a rod holder to set next to you for when you bring in those fish you can just place it in the holder and never have dirt get in ya rod or reel . even tho i cant get out right now while healing up but you sure brighten my day cause i feel as if i am there with you fishing right along side ya .

I'm waaaay up here in PA and we fish exactly like that. Yeah, the ocean is 3 hour's away in NJ or DE. Sometimes I go from the shore. Or, out with friends who have a boat. And? In the creeks and Susquehanna River. But, at 63 years old? The simplest way is the right way! Safe travels and God bless you!

I like your videos. Do you ever have problems with the bluegill inhaling the hooks? I've been trying to get better/quicker with my hookset but I haven't fished regularly in several years

I find that sometimes you have to let them eat the bait or you will miss them so the quick hook set doesn't always work. I use a longer hook not the long cricket hook but almost as long. I think it is the #6 Eagle Claw Classic Baitholder. With a little longer hook enough of it is hanging out of the fishes month to give you something to work with. Great question thanks for sharing. As far as laying the rod & reel down, I noticed that as well but who am I to tell you what to or not to do with your stuff? Do you ever take your bober off and fish the bottom. Last time I went out couldn't get a bite on the bobber took it off and fished the bottom and i started catching fish.. took em home clean up and my wife cooked em for dinner
