Me too. I get so tired of the ones (usually from the UK) who have to talk and talk and talk. Irritating to say the least. Chris is far and away a better colorist..

I’ve just started to colour and thought I’d go through all your videos. Only watched you colour one flower and I am already amazed I have only started with 24 staedtler crayons so no chance of repeating what you did but I’m going slow but steady. Thanks for videos you obviously talented x

I'm catching up on your past videos, thank you for the guidance. I'm new to colored pencils and am working on Secret Garden - it's a bit overwhelming. Your videos help to break it down and offer color/technique suggestions.

You are an amazing artist and I like watching your videos. Just one question: why so many layers around the center of the flower?
@kimmimcknight34178 жыл бұрын
That's what I'd like to know, too...

I think Chris uses such a soft touch that she just keeps layering so softly to add just the right amount of color. I haven't been able to get her technique down quite yet, but I wish I could.
@miavos36108 жыл бұрын
Deanna Gearinger I think you're right. I make a complete mess of things when I start layering! It is a technique that requires a lot of practice and patience!

Chris, I liked the color combination & application suggestions. However, the music was a significant distraction; the tone was fractious, irritating, overwhelming the calm tone of the coloring. I don't normally pay much attention to the background music; but in this instance, I felt it significant enough to mention. Many thanks for sharing your talent. Lynn

Wow! What a critical person you are!!! Wow! "fractious, irritating, overwhelming!" Wow! Not enough words to describe the irritation! You should be grateful you get to watch a FREE video of someone kindly sharing their skills and tips! If it irritates you that much, then don't watch this video. If you must mention it, try being more tactful! No need to use multiple strong words!

Love your videos! I have a hard time finding a good pencil sharpener for my Prisma colors what do you use for a sharpener?
@chloetan2298 жыл бұрын
Try Prismacolour Pencil sharpener made for this brand of color pencils.
@chloetan2298 жыл бұрын
***** Agreed that the wider works better but I highly recommend the Prismacolour. It works the best for me. I have several different Staedtler and Faber Castell sharpeners and while they can all sharpen well, the Prismacolour works the best when the wider option is used. You don't have to turn the sharpener much and gves a very sharp point without wasting and shaving off too much of the lead.

Hi Chris, I too am catching up on so many of your videos, now that I have discovered you. Just wondering why you layered so much to the point I could not see the blend. I have very good vision and am also one of those weird people with extra cones so I see all true colors and their gradient hues that many people can't - all that to say, I pay close attention to your choices of colors to blend. I also noticed that sometimes you use a dull pencil point to get in small tight areas, as in the outward edges of the flower. For the first time I could see the edges a bit ragged and messy - and, that is not usually what you do. I appreciate you and your delicate hand with coloring. Thank you.

@jessicadieter63077 жыл бұрын
Pimphisut Boukeaw if it continues to break the lead is broken inside, probably from being dropped at some point...there isn't really anything that can be done 😧
@lmainello48966 жыл бұрын
Just super glue the tip back on by putting some glue down in the hole and on the tip itself right whenever it breaks off, hold it down really tightly for about 20 seconds, let rest for about 45 seconds, and it's fixed meaning you can go back to using it right away. Invest in a better sharpener plus make sure your pencils are properly stored so that they never get jostled around or dropped and your problem will be fixed.
