Great Video. Appreciate your work and effort. Just a small suggestion which I believe would improve the experience even more. It would be better not to stop every few seconds and show the instruction to go left or right. Instead you can do the same thing without stopping the video and show it on the screen (maybe on the top left or right corner) in a smaller sized video (just like you used for your webcam) at the same time. In that way the video will be shorter and will be on point. Keep up the good work and keep posting helpful videos on your channel. Thanks 👍👍

Because you are no longer an active participant in road traffic after braking so hard. Even if you are standing in the middle of the lane and just want to continue straight ahead, you must turn the blinker to the left when you start driving again to show that you are starting over again. Don't forget to look over your shoulder to check that no one is overtaking you. Both steps are required by the examiners and are a mandatory part of this driving task. Kind regards Dario

Hi, thanks for the amazing video and tips. You just won a new subscriber. At 35:11 Minutes, the thin line that changed to a thick line according to your statement isn´t too clear to me. Is it the line on my right-hand side, which when examined closer in the video got thicker or rather bolder in terms of the whiteness in color and not thicker in terms of width? Secondly, while changing the lane by one to the left, since our lane was ending, you didn´t have to use a blinker and check the blind spot to the left. Is that not necessary? Also, Isn´t it possible that a car could be coming on the initial lane ours merged into?
@fahrlingo2 жыл бұрын
Hi Tachere Praise Thanks for your kind comment! When you enter the highway there are generally 3 types of lines on your left. Knowing their meaning, makes it easier to enter the highway. 1) Threading line: Consisting of short but very thick strips. (Most common) -> You have to change your lane because your current one is ending. Observe traffic, indicate and check the blindspot 2) The guiding line: Consisting of long but narrow strips -> The Entry ramp is turning into an additional highway lane. You can follow straight ahead and do not have to turn left. So you do not have to observe the traffic on your left and you do not have to indicate in this case. 3) The Solid Line: Consisting of a single continuous strip. -> You are not allowed to pass it, follow your entry lane straight ahead. Pay attention to the front: the type of line will change more ahead. Your Driving Teacher knows the most important Highway-Entries in your exam area and will train them with you. How ever in some bigger cities examiners have so much possibilities that you can not train them all. Thats why i try to teach my students the concept to be able to handle even unknown Highway-Entries without problems. I hope i could help you!

Sir, loved your videos and suggestions. I have a question: While existing a “Einbahnstraße” and in order to turn left, should I move to the right side of the road first before turning or I can turn left from left side of the road?
@fahrlingo2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question! Short answer: Second. The explanation is a bit longer: Sorry. We assume you are in a narrow street. Normally, when turning left, you have to position yourself on the right, so that a vehicle coming from the right and having the right of way has the possibility to pass you if it wants to turn into your street. So you do not take him the right of way. In a one-way street, it is impossible that a vehicle comes to head towards you. Therefore, when turning left, you MUST! position yourself far to the left close to the pavement. Thus, the vehicle behind you can drive up next to you and turn right at the same time. However, there is one exception: one-way streets that can only be used by bicycles on both sides. (Check signs or road markings) In this case, when turning left from this special one-way street, it is better to position yourself in the middle. This way, a bike still has the necessary room to pass you. Hopefully i could help you out! Kind regards, Dario.

Thank you very much for the video. I just have 1 question : the limit speed of the streets are 30 or 50 but I saw speed meter in auto are 33 or 52,53. are they ok ? ( cause I drive 27 for 30 and 45 for 50 and my teacher told me that I am too Slow .. ) . Thank you very much in advance !!
@fahrlingo2 жыл бұрын
Good morning Nu Sam, thank you for your question! Generally we say that + - 3 kmh faster or slower are ok. So if you should drive 50kmh everything between 47-53 Kmh is ok. Without seeing you drive it is hard to give a good advice, because the choice of speed is always depending on the situation. But put yourself in the examiner's shoes, he only sees you driving for about 40 minutes. If you drive constantly slower than possible you give him the feeling that you are afraid of driving and he might think that you need more practice. If you drive very fast, you give the impression of not recognizing danger and not having enough control. Of course, the right choice of speed always depends on many factors such as traffic rules and street conditions for example. If my students tend to drive too slowly, I sometimes recommend accelerating a little faster. It makes a difference if you accelerate from 30kmh to 50kmh over 250 meters or in only 25 meters. In both cases you end up driving 50kmh but the impression of speed you leave on the examiner is different. Hope i could help you, all the best Dario.

@@abenaappiah1 You get a feel for speed over time but especially in the test I wouldn't rely on it. To maintain your speed you need to check your speedometer at regular intervals to make sure you're driving correctly. I think it needs some practice so unfortunately I can't give you any more tips than that. For parking I actually made a little video. (You find the link below.) There are many ways to explain parking, but no matter which strategy you choose, it takes practice. Repeat in your head the most important steps of parking that your driving instructor told you, so that your actions during the lesson are safer, because you know what to do. Even if there are many explanations on the Internet, I would stick to the instructions of your driving instructor, because he will hardly let you practice another strategy for parking. After all, he knows his own car best. However, an instructor should not yell at you no matter what happens in the car. This is not normal or standard in driving schools. If you feel uncomfortable or even afraid of the driving lesson, rather change the driving instructor within your school. If necessary, consider a change of driving school. Even if you have to pay an admission fee again, you will still get away cheaper than if you have to pay for endless driving lessons that do not bring you further. Kind regards Dario. I failed today in my driving prufung. I was ok on the first task and reverse parking. The prufer suddenly brought me into the grocery parking area and let me park there in between a truck and s car. When I reverse back out I was worried about the blind spot on the truck side so I was looking at the left side mirror and left side back. I miss to check the reverse mirror so I notice late another car reversing on my back but I was able to brake immediately but the TUV was not satisfied and failed me immediately.

Worst is that he said the test is over because i put second gear but I was told when preparing for my test that we should drive in the highest gear possible to not make too much noise. @fahrlingo Жыл бұрын
Hi Rishiraj, thanks for your comment. The exam takes place in German by law. There are a few examiners who will accommodate you linguistically and speak English or at least use simple German. But you can also be unlucky and get an examiner who doesn't show any consideration and speaks to you like to any native speaker in German. Unfortunately, you cannot choose the examiner. How strictly the examiners interpret the law in your area is best asked to your driving instructor. I recommend my students to master the basic vocabulary of the examiner, so that you can pass any examiner and concentrate on driving. Kind regards Dario

May i ask you wich lengauge do you speak? Generally, the better you understand your driving instructor, the fewer driving lessons you need. So you save a lot of money. The best thing is to find a teacher who speaks your native language. The theory test can be taken in 13 languages. But the practical exam is in German. Depending on how well you speak German, the practical test can be more difficult.

@@abdulahiibrahim9803 Thank you for your reply. I know that the driver's license can be very important. However, I would recommend you to wait until you can speak B2 German or understand English well. Why? You have to pass the theory test first. There are only 30 questions asked but they are chosen from more than 1200 possible questions. Somali is unfortunately not an official language in which you can take the theory exam. So you should speak German, English or Arbaic for example to understand the theory questions. On youtube you can find many german theory exam simulations in english. If you find it difficult to understand them, I would advise you not to go straight for the license and to improve your language skills first. I hope I could help you. Kind regards, Dario

Good question Jerry: If the bus turns on its hazard lights during its stop, you must pass it with walking speed only. But if the bus has only turned on the blinker to the right, as in the video, it is enough to reduce the speed depending how close you are and pass carefully. Watch out for sudden appearing pedestrians and turn your head so that the examiner knows that you are watching the bus carefully. I hope i could answer your question.
