Well Mr. HistoryHunter...another great video. It was good to see your son with you again. He was the Captain of the ship. Our son came down for Father's Day last night (Saturday night) and it was great to have him here and also our daughter was here to get her dog since she won't be flying to China for about two weeks. I really am grateful for your videos of your country and your WW II history lessons. I have a drone also that my daughter brought me back from China. Our son brought his down and he flew it about 11:00 last night. It has a GPS thing on it but for some reason it couldn't find itself so he just flew it without it. We used to fly (and crash) radio controlled airplanes until I got tired of climbing thorn trees to get my aircraft after a crash. His iPad tells him everything he needs to know about his drone only it sure has fine print...hard to see. I bet the hot dogs you guys had were really good after five hours on the island. Great and pretty trip...thanks a million! Chevy

I live in New Zealand and there is an island just outside of The harbour where I live and on The island there used to be an old ww2 prison camp that housed captured German soldiers. One day one of The soldiers escaped on a boat and made it quite a long way up The east coast but eventually got captured because after he made it up The coast The nearest country is Australia which is over 1000km away so he had no where to go. I thought it was quite funny so I decided to share with u :)

I think you would find lots with a metal detector. There has to be a pit where they dumped trash? It may be covered over with grass and soil but I doubt they would of cleared it all away, especially on an island. Great video.

If you examine the drone footage at 13:25 you will notice that the building could be a former command post, the to the lower right could be the foundation for equipment such as a flack gun or a radio mast.

father and son searching for germans, why not look at the actual history. Russia and the the soviet union where more imperialistic then the germans ever were. the difference is that the germans had their imperialistic period very late, from 1870-1917 and then 1939-1944. the soviet-russian period was far longer and they built far more fortifications. if you want to do historical videos, make some check up first

Very beautiful location and peaceful. As thick as the walls were on that house, the Germans may have used the existing structures instead of building a bunker. Are there any people who live in the area that know about the island you could talk to? It’s great to see you step away from history to show Eagle Eyes the sheep wool and giant tree that fell over and then the skull. He’s learning a lot being with you.
