The guardian and old ganon amiibo are seen as the same amiibo in the game If you try to scan both, it’ll accept one or the other but when you scan the second one, it says can’t be used again today

You can scan multiple of the same model of amiibo though so this doesn't make sense. As in, if you bought two of the Guardian amiibo you could scan both in one day. So it must be a bug that makes your exact two amiibo register as LITERALLY the same amiibo. Also, I too have both and have not encountered this, just to be clear.

@@KeiranTrick Not always, some amiibos have the same serials as another. Depends on the batch. If you bought sequential figures, it wouldn’t work. I was reading that it reads out UID and then the full nfc string, then will save the 8bit UID for the 24hr block. They do this to save space in the temp memory apparently. It’ll read the uid and if that UID is in the memory, it won’t read the rest. From what I’ve read. I’m guessing those 2 I have, have the same UID but different strings for the rest. I can say this because when testing this issue, it’ll give 2 different drops for the different ones. I’ll scan the guardian 1 day and it gives me X and then the next day I’ll scan ganon and it gives me Y. Plus in botw I don’t have this issue and it gives me different things on the same day Definitely a weird issue

@@KeiranTrick I’ve heard that cloning the amiibo to an NFC card will give it a different UID and you can use the original and the NFC. So I’m guessing the UID bit save is true. This is just what I’ve been reading since running into this issue though.
