We all deal with the pain of betrayal in different ways, but most often we hide inside ourselves as in a shell and there, alone, first howl like a wounded animal, and then we begin to think: Why did it happen? How did I let this happen?

I was raised to not trust anyone and to never expect anything from anyone! the very first time i went against the way i was raised i was betrayed ! i had a hard time getting over it but finally did! today i dont have any ill will or thoughts towards people because i went back to the way i was raised an dont have any expections of anyone!

I've come to learn in life from experience that in order not to allow myself not to be betrayed or hurt from others is not to allow myself to become attached to anyone or anything. Attachment only leads to suffering which brings misery with it. So I asked myself, how can I not become attached? Answer.... don't have any friends and only exercise the materialisms that I need to survive. If the materials that I need to survive are taken away or stolen they can always be replaced. Trust from others can never be replaced. If they did it once more than likely they will do it again. If not to me , then surely to someone else. Self discipline is loving yourself first and foremost.

The only answer I can give is that when you realise everyone is on their own soul journey , what ever they do in life has consequences. Your right loving yourself is first and foremost. We are going to ascend or should I say I hope too so we have to detach to do this. Everyone has a choice love and light

I am sin free in His eyes, justified and righteous based upon what He did for us. He sees us as perfect yet we have a hard time with seeing ourselves that way and others surely see us possibly worse yet thank God it does not depend on us. Stay strong and fight with the armour of God. Faith is our shield and gives us peace whatever the enemy throws at us. The helmet of salvation stops all lies that we can never lose our salvation which gives us eternal security. God bless.

What happens is we are betraying ourselves by having some set expectations that allow us to be so attached to a person that they are capable of hurting us when that hurt is just our expectations not being met cause we ourselves have an expectation we lied to ourselves and so did the other person in some cases but in all cases we get hurt it's our fault.

I love everyone, but I prefer being alone. But I have my Father and Christ by my side. I just don't like drama, and fake people, people out to see what they can get, gossiping, and all that comes with it. Loneliness is a good thing. 😊

Manage your expectations of others wisely, be realistic, and accept that life (yours and thiers) is complex and multi-dimensional; a challenging, ever-changing process of give and take. When you are betrayed, rise above it, and see it for what it is (typically, a self-serving 'chess move' on thier part). Learn to accept lifes challenges, forgive them and yourself, and move-on!

I'm saying this trope that we are told and believe that we 'NEED' to love and be loved, or, as the above video purports ''we can't live our lives any other way'', is dangerous and untrue. It suggests that our ego is stronger than us. Why do you NEED to love another person? Why do you NEED to be loved by another? What will happen if those 'NEEDS' aren't met? I'll tell you - sorrow, despair and self-pity. To need is to be addicted. Addiction to something which if it is taken from you destroys you is not good, it is only bad. You will love, you will be loved. Wonderful. But to say we can't live our lives any other way makes us pathetic weak junkies. Love, but don't NEED love. Bet you're glad you asked.
