What comes to my mind about Titus - is that other Marines see Titus indifferent or too strong and could hint at becoming Chaos. But like the Gravemind in Halo 2 says about the Chief - like Titus here: “This one is machine and nerve and has its mind concluded.” Titus is incorruptible. Too angry to die. Faith in the Emperor so secured that while unconscious after destroying the artifact of Tzeentch, Big E spoke to him _”Rise, son of Guilliman.”_ Fcking Titus is THAT GUY of 40K right now. I have the feeling he’s going to be Guilliman’s right hand over the other chapter masters for critical/absolute missions in the future.

Titus isn't incorruptible, he's just incredibly unlikely to be corrupted and especially not by some base daemon. Incorruptible really only applies to a few subsets in the Imperium, blanks like the Sisters of Silence, and then of course the Custodes. Makes characters like Titus and the Grey Knights a bit cooler because they can absolutely be corrupted but their faith in the Emperor and their minds are so strong it just doesn't happen.

And as we know all creatures can evolve any possible gene combination so is it that improbable that Titus also happens to be one of lucky few with the right genes to be incorruptible?
