What does she want him to do or say when she says stupid stuff that makes him take a step back but never really letting go and still having hope that she will become his and he hers. I get it he has his problems, but even when he tries to overcome them. She dashes them with her own hands. Furthermore, why is she like she was so in love with her ex when in reality she has had her reservations about him; and now when a guy who is trying to do right by her she destroys it. I would have just given up because why waste my time on someone who clearly doesn't want me? I've tried to be with you, but you kept pushing me away. There is only so much he can do before he walks away for good, and her being so concerned with the fact that he's not telling her that loves her!? When clearly he does, but when comes to actually saying it? There is a distinctive discomfort with the word itself that is connected to his mother. Whom of which told him she loved him the proceeded to commit suicide in front of him as a child. So you can imagine the degree trauma that it has on his psyche. Then she, after knowing some things about it! She still refuses to believe he wants more than she is giving, and when she says the things that she does and he just goes along with it like she's right and her accepting as a fact that she was right while at the same time hoping he'd say something different!? Ha, fat chance in that happening. Not when he thinks that's what she wants or believes. So she's doing a great job of cutting off all possible chances of a future with him, and he kind of doing the same.
