Such a fun build. One paragon board suggestion - on the Bloodbath board, next to the Thick Hide rare node, you have an extra 5% Damage while Fortified node you can free up. I'd suggest moving that point to the Targeted rare node on the Flesh-Eater board for the 72% damage to elites and 22 intelligence (with Gravekeeper at 21). Keep up the good work!

This is crazy, thank you - will the written guide be updated as well? There seems to be some old info in there, like taking Corspe Explosion and triggering it with Blood Mist. I do need to play the midgame tanky version as the final one with Tyrael just breaks me... not sure how much HP I need to hit or what I am doing wrong, but I get constantly oneshot in 80s Pits, and Bosses take really long to kill. That does not happen with the Bonestorm version. Feels safer ^^

Found a 2h scythe yesterday with 2GA on damage and max life [my current scythe being GA on damage and a crappy roll on max life...but..almost perfect golem tempers]. So of course it bricks. Doesnt it manage to somehow brick to *perfect* Skele-mage tempers. Guess I am supposed to try out skele mage now huh? Glad to know about tempers on Tyraels though...my first hit was max res and I wasn't sure, guess I can keep it after all!

Just make a new character for Helltides! I've got 3 from leveling a new Necro, and killing tormented duriel on my old. I actually got a Doombringer either from Duriel or Helltide chests when I was level 80 at the start of the season. So I could break that down, but my barb may use it if i ever decide to play him. Anyway it is super easy to get to level 18 reputation with the Iron Wolves just doing Helltide. I hear the Sorcerer is fun so I'm going to level her up.

The Mage build has a similar ceiling while being tankier and being much easier to play. Better uptime on corpse eater, able to sit in blood mist without losing too much damage etc. Both builds pushed to a 127 Mages just have an easier time with it

@@rusecruize9280 I can't agree on mages being easier. They give you a hard time eating each and every CC effect and attacking random targets. Not having the golem active ability is a curse rather than a blessing.

On golem, you would look for physical damage and thorns multipliers (shadow would be just for shadowblight passive), while on mages you would focus on just shadow damage.

I have a question, since ive been away since S1 but what about the Ring of Mendelm? Is it still good? You have the Grasping Veins aspect on your second Ring and i dont plan on using Corpse Tendrils do you think that Mendelm is a good idea?

Grasping Veins crit damage doesn't work on minions last time I checked last week or so. So unless it is in the patch notes don't use it! Now that could just be for the golem. Pw4nwyf did a video on testing it like last week or so. If so it frees up Harden Bones then.

I dont care much about vulnerable since the build is already busted in terms of damage and cpuld use other things such to supllement that since i can proc vulnerable through Lucky hit very often and my Bone Golem. Corpse Tendrils and Decrepify are stupid, basically mandatory on every build, i hope in the future they change that.

I cant seem to find HBC on my amulet to save my life.. I have been minion necro since day 1 when the game came out an i Have only found 2 amulets with that affixes on it.. Its crazy i found 3 ubers since the game came out (nowhere near alot i know my rng is trash lol) and only 2 amulets wit that affixes. I love farming in video games but this is wild lol.

This build it wont matter if your in pit 100 or 125. Youll die the same in some scenarios. You must play carefully and always spam tendrils to keep monsters away. And move around your mages never stay still

You can play Hardened bones instead with int max life and then probably armor. This is actually better against physical attacks but is worse against magical damage. Overall tyreals might is better but Hardened bones is still a good option

I wish you guys would go back to making step-by-step guides in text. Staring from level 1. And ending at level 100. Why is holy bolt so stigmatized? Do you ban shattered sorcerer from the leader board? For me it's the same thing. Leaderboards should be just top clear no matter what is being used unless it's a cheat. So in a way I can't say this is representative leaderboard. Top clears for necro are far beyond 127.

I was basically the only person pushing Mages this entire season until the last week where the leaderboard is suddenly starting to fill up with Mages. The leaderboard went from me on Mages against all golem to having almost half the leaderboard being Mages. This happened in part because of the new tech as well as some changes to paragon, stats, and even what aspects are being ran. The build has been clearly improved and its presence in the meta game has substantially increased

its a bug with aphotic it goes off every hit when your skele wars (reapers) swing, you need to use that aspect. You also have to actually have your priest buff up

would it be worth adding +6 mage mastery to a golem build for additional damage? i use a golem build where all masterworking is golem damage priority, but i have +3 mage mastery on pants, and another +3 mage mastery on a set of gloves in storage. just wondering if increasing the mage's damage in a golem build would be better or worse. i could essentially add +12 to mage mastery for the loss of about 10% crit chance off my gloves

Ruse something else thats worth noting that i never see mentioned is rolling a + to essence on your boots or chest (if you arent running Tyreal). Its not hugely important, but it literally allows you cast Blight on every pull through a dungeon without ever getting low on Essence. Even in your clip here i noticed you getting low fairly often during your clear while being conservative. It feels like a big quality of life to give up an int or max life roll somewhere to get this. I didnt tjink it would be that great but it really does feel much nicer having it.

its a joke to level. mages eat everything easy. only the pit can struggle since the boss dmg is garbage after 90. i prefer the focus and a staff for the faster atk speed. corpse explo over blight

@rusecruize9280 Is there a way to fit an Unique in the Bone Storm version of this? Maybe by going with an 1H+Focus/Shield for the extra aspect slot? I was thinking of equipping the Soulbrand unique which with Bone Storm should be better for survivability than even Tyrael's Might ?

You can if you don't mind losing a lot of damage. Bone storm can be useful if you find yourself too squishy. Try it out and see how it goes.

Run Hardened bones instead of blood getters and run max life instead of int on rings and gloves

Hardened bones on your neck, bone storm instead of army of the dead and take shielding storm aspect as well as ultimate shadow. Also run a wand and shield with DR GA.
