The original synth is a Roland System 100 - 101 (synth) and 104 (sequencer).

It is a historical fact that Spiral wasn’t recorded with a 303. But beyond the joke of my video, there is another point, imho: most synths are more flexible than they look. A 303 and a System 101 (the Spiral-Sequence-Synth) do share some sonic ground because both having old Roland tech specs. Investing some quality time in the programming and recording, I guess someone could get very close to Spiral with a 303. :-)
