Secret Rink - Can Am Alpine Flex Plow

I set out to make a secret hockey rink and I got to make an overview video of the Can Am Alpine Flex plow in action.
The Can Am snowplow blade is very simple to install, it quickly clips on and off. Also I show the downfalls of using the synthetic rope - oh well I was still able to finish the rink.

You should have the fairlead with the rollers

Maybe. But for rope they say not to use that one for some reason.

Switch over to a 10 to 15 ft tow strap that's what we do here in nfld keeps the rope and cable from snaping strap never breaks 3500lb up strap

Nice find with the rink! Your plow install is significantly easier than the Diesel Cat! I have broken my steel cable probably 6 times in the last 8 years. I am no hockey player... Maybe I will ref...

@@adamellis4301 this plow is so easy to put on and off. I can’t imagine an easier system. Interesting that your steel cable breaks also. I guess I’m not bad off with the rope. I know they sell different mounting connections so that you pulley back to a higher spot and gain the mechanical advantage. We can use a goalie. Are you up for that???? 🤣
