SECRET SAMPLE LIBRARIES - that give you an edge? How do you sound different in a world where so many musicians use the same sound libraries? Go in search of small independent producers who turn out incredible original sample libraries. Today I've found not one but two of them! Triumph Audio is the brainchild of composer Kevin Manthei and produces boutique off-the-wall sample libraries that are really inspiring. Have Audio are new to me and they sound great - watch out for the most bonkers user interface I have ever seen!

There are plenty of fantastic boutique library vendors that make stuff that I love to use in my productions. Have Audio is a good example. Have you also heard of these: - Realitone - Impact Soundworks - Muze - Embertone - Dark Intervals - Karanyi Sounds - Rast Sound I think these guys produce great quality "niche" content which is perfect for cinematic/ambient/game productions, and even for other genres like drill, trap, lofi, etc.

Loved the video today. I burst out laughing with the "Old Yeller" bit, I know I shouldn't have, but I too was equally traumatized by that movie, when I was a kid. My parents obviously went "It's a Disney movie, perfect for our 5 and 9 year olds".... Both I and my brother wouldn't let our family dog out of the house for at least a month after being subjected to that movie. So afraid were we that "Trixie" would get rabies.... I can look back and laugh now....

Hi Guy, awesome video! Idk if you've done this before, but I would love a video how to use the instrumentation in an orchestral filmusic piece to embrace the different emotions you have in movies! you have tested ALOT of sounds and know quite a bit about a plugin or two, and I would really appreciate your approach to different emotions using different plugins/orchestra (if that made any sense). Thanks for cool vids I can spend the whole night here in Norway watching .

Some of Guy's past videos do instrument selection and scoring to film. Guy actually got me interested in DAW mixing. In 2020, got me thinking about Cubase and seemed easy in his hands. Since then got into mixing in the box, started a SoundCloud channel, all to go along with my live-mixing I do at my church. Speaking of night in Norway - soon you'll have the long winter nights ahead for videos and mixing :)
