I was 10 years old in 1975 when my 5-year-old brother drowned in an Oklahoma pond on our neighbors property. My memory is still vivid even at 58 years old now of the two men I saw in scuba gear leaned up against a Jeep with Oklahoma highway patrol search and rescue stickers on it. And I will never forget seeing one of the men wipe tears from his face while witnessing my Dad fall to his knees. Even though I am reminded of that day when I watch you guys, I know like those men and you guys, you are heroes.

you all are a inspiration to the entire world. jared you began cleaning up the rivers and lakes of trash, tires, sunglasses, bottles, all sorts of garbage. then you began searching for vehicles and the channel started to gain traction. you found countless cars, trucks, vans, a snowcat, boats, then found a missing man that no one had any idea to where exactly he was until you pulled up his Mazda. out of ALL the vehicles in that 80ft hole you picked the Mazda like he was leading you right to him! then you started searching for more vehicles and then taking on missing person cases you all solved 23 + cases and brought the lost loved ones home and the families began to heal. you gave everyone a purpose in life, they have their own channels dedicated to helping families, and gave me a reason to get out and search to. so thank you jared from the bottom of my heart you are an amazing guy and a great friend. doug you came along way from tow truck driving, helping them remove vehicles, to being part of this amazing team, you helped bring countless loved ones home to their families. you are an amazing person and a great friend. dont give up. and to all the supporters, donors, people watching the videos, liking, commenting, thank you aswell. without your continued support awp and all the other amazing channels wouldn't be here helping! love from your friend james rideout.

This channel has made me do some serious thinking about my life.. it’s phenomenal that you guys have found you’re purpose in life and are helping sooo many people..loved ones find answers. I struggle to find my purpose, all I know is I want to help people. 12hr shifts working a job that has zero rewards or happiness 7 days a week is far from a purpose other than providing for my family. Maybe other members can relate. Keep up the good work!!!!
@NatYourAverageNerd2 жыл бұрын
I remember being in your position not too long ago. What helped me find my purpose was the following: I paid attention to what sparked my voluntary interest, I did not discount patterns in my dreams that stuck with me, and I kept practicing at what I felt happiest doing in my free time. Through trials and triumph, I'm now working in the career field I've wanted since I was a kid, and it has saved me from wasting any more time working for Starbucks than I should have. Have patience, courage, and optimism. You will find your purpose in due time.

I can relate 100% I struggle to find my purpose as well. Disability isn't enough to even live off of, so I live with my son and daughter-in-law, but that allows me to be here for my two grandsons, who are both autistic. My daughter lives two houses down from us, and I get to see her children too. We are already spreading autism awareness in our small trailer park, and the small town we live in. We donate to our foodshelf as we can, and volunteer places if possible. It's not what I wanted to do with my life, but I am proud to say that I raised two compassionate, caring children, as a single mom even. 23 cold cases solved! Y'all have solved more cold cases than most police departments or LEO's solve in their entire career, and in such a relatively short time. That's amazing. What probably started out as a hobby for y'all, is now something that is life-changing. I feel like God is with you and guides y'all every time y'all do these dives.

You guys are absolutely amazing! Been watching all your videos with my dad as our father/daughter bonding. We wanted to buy the emergency tool but they're out of stock - will they be restocked at any point? Thank you guys again for the amazing work you do, let's keep bringing them home!

Listening to you guys talk to each other, really makes me wanna be out there in the field with you. I’m an archaeologists and I love being outside and I rarely get to go in the water. But watching you guys your ground with each other, amazing!

Absolutely amazing human beings all of you are bringing closer to all these family’s!! Not even law enforcement will take the time to do! There is not enough Thank you’s for your amazing ♥️

Unfortunately most law enforcement do not have the resources or is trained for this type of recovery. Now the Police Departments some have Special Diving Teams. They again alot of them do not do this day in and out like AWP ect. So when looking they do not have that keen eye for locating vehicles. So please remember, Police work above water. Please support your Local Law Enforcement and Keep AWP going by sending donations to support an encredible team. Thank you.

Just wanted to comment that I’m so glad that Jared is there I missed him so much Doug does a great job But I’m tired of seeing on the news that they say it’s Doug’s team and it’s not Doug’s team it’s Jared’s teams he’s the one that started it he’s the face of it so let’s give credit where credit is due

Its a team..one is the founder/ leader but everyone that works with him makes a team lets give CREDIT TO EVERYONE THAT WORKS SO HARD!

I understand what you’re saying but I also recall one of the BTS videos on Josh’s channel in which Jared says something like “We are sending out a 6-man team.” And he also says that Doug is leading the team that is going out. So, as AWP is growing it makes sense to identify different teams within AWP being headed by people who are not Jared. Just like other larger organizations, there is an overall leader who then has team leaders under them. It sounds strange because we aren’t used to it, but Doug really was the team leader.

Doug is a great addition to the team but his ego needs to stay in check! Jared, you're natural leader, able to take charge, direct people, and are naturally cohesive....you're da BOSS!

I'm glad you put this one & part 1 out there for us to see. It gave us a chance to see a lighter side of you guys. Important work and yet some humor as the cars were so old, they couldn't be pulled. I remember seeing all the dumped metal items that are now recycled on the side of the road and in rivers growing up through the 70's and early 80's.
@misssunshine62002 жыл бұрын
This must have been a popular location to dump cars and car parts back in the day. Also, hi saying "I'm taking you to shore!" And him saying "no no no" made me laugh 😭😂 no dad no! I don't wanna go home!

Jared congratulations on your channel. Just think a little over a year ago the channel didn't even have a million people yet. I have been subbed to your channel pretty early on. I always try to talk about all of ya'll and encourage anyone to subbed to your channel. Every time I go live I try to make sure people know about ya'll. I think every one of you that's involved in all of this deserves the name I picked out. Ya'll are( The Angels Of The Falling Waters ). Because ya'll are all about bringing the falling angels in the waters home. Ya'll have brought 23 fallen angels home R.I.P to all.
