CASE DETAILS
Cottrell was last seen in Little Rock, Arkansas on October 10, 2002.
She was driving a beige or tan 1985 Delta 88 Royale at the time of her disappearance.
She has never been heard from again.
Cottrell left a note for her husband saying she loved him and that he should look for her in the river.
Few details are available in her case.
The moment we hit the area, we were quickly made aware of 5 more missing person cases who could have ended up in the Little Rock area and asked to keep an eye out for each one of them as well.
Kalieb Keith Pitts
Pitts was last seen in Clarksville, Arkansas on February 20, 2018. He never picked up his last paycheck and has never been heard from again. Pitts may be driving a white 1997 Ford Ranger stepside extended cab pickup truck with a dent in the driver's side door; a photo of a similar vehicle is posted with this case summary. The vehicle isn't registered to him and the license plate number is unknown; Pitts had been known to take license plates from other vehicles and put it on the truck.
Ernie Joe Tate
Tate was last seen in Clarksville, Arkansas. On August 12, 1996, he and his wife got into an argument and both left their home. The last contact from him was with his mother on August 14. He was reportedly upset over marital difficulties and an upcoming court date at the time of his disappearance. He has never been heard from again. Tate may be driving a silver and black 1988 Eagle Premier.
Gene Taylor McIntyre
McIntyre was last seen in Hot Springs, Arkansas on November 1, 2007. He later called his sister and ex-wife from Padre Island, Texas, hundreds of miles away, and said he was having chest pains. His family later got postcards from him, postmarked Padre Island. McIntyre may be driving a gold 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Arkansas license plate number 680 MFP.

Last seen 10/25/2017.
Vehicle: 2003, F150, Silver and Black
Tag number C471545 Louisiana
The truck has dark tinted windows and some body damage such as a deep groove where a mirror was drug down it on the passenger side and black spray paint on the driver side

One of the things I appreciate about all the teams is when they're searching for a vehicle, they're in hunt mode. They're thinking about the person, getting in their heads and they're 100% searching. Once they find the vehicles and they know they potentially found someone the sorrow, relief and knowledge they are bringing both the most terrible news and bittersweet comfort to an already grieving family hits them. Their professionalism is unquestionable, but their humanity and humility is what makes them the best of the best.

You are so kind, I’ve always said if something like that happened to me AWP with be the first to donate, Arms family homestead would be my 2nd and Iowa Dairy Farmer would be the 3rd. Right now I don’t make much money but whatever I can donate, me and my daughter do it together. I let her hit submit every time and she gets so excited. Every Friday we get snacks water dog food/treats and money if we have it and we drive(we know where most of them sleep/or hangout) to the spots where the homeless ppl who are struggling to get back on their feet (there’s one that won’t take anything from us they only want cash and unfortunately we don’t give them money or anything worth selling) and offer them those items or get a list from them and during the week we work on getting those items. My daughter looks forward to every Friday to see our friends. We given them tents blankets clothes food water home cooked meals whatever we can. This lady asked me and my daughter for money for food, my daughter said “what kind of food are you craving?” I just want the money I don’t want anything from in there my daughter said “are you homeless ma’am?” The lady said yes my daughter said “Not to be rude ma’am but you’re not in a position to be picky, my mom always tells me when I don’t want to eat what she makes that some ppl don’t get to eat everyday and I should be grateful, my mommy will buy you water and food from here but no cash so if you’re really hungry you’ll make the right decision” the late asked for water no food. We bought her water and my daughter handed it to her and said if you know if you would of been honest about what you’re going to do with the money my mommy would of given it to you eve if it was for bad stuff, god bless you” and we walked away. My daughter is 8 years old and she made me so proud, honesty is so important to her… because it’s important to me. I’m very honest with her about the different ways ppl can become homeless and tell her when they ask for money for food but when you offer food and they don’t take it there’s a strong chance they’re lying. My daughter has straight up asked “what are you going to use the money on” and they answered “why does it matter” my daughter said “ I worked hard for my money and you’re just sitting there asking me for my money. You didn’t feel it was wrong to ask me for money and I don’t feel its wrong for me to ask you what you’re going to spend my money on, being rude isnt going to work out in your favor ma’am. My mom always says kill um with kindness” I want my daughter to see all sides of what being homeless is like and learn that not every case is sad, there’s some ugly mean ones and not everyone is grateful. If you have kids or are married go around one day and take some home cooked meals and pass them out with a coke and water to ppl struggling on the street. It’s such a good feeling to see how some are so grateful and even cry because they haven’t eaten in so long. It teaches your kids a lot too!

That is what many high tax nations with social programs do not understand about the USA. We have very high rates of charity in the USA. many nations have almost none! It is one of the good things that have come out of the roots of the USA..the work ethic, charity, and idea of "the American dream"...ESPECIALLY upward mobility! I'd put some money in a trust if you want to leave any for people if something happens to you... 18 year olds blow cash. I'd also invest a good chunk of your money in a variety of things if I were you..Then whatever you don't donate, I'd leave in a bank, since the interest rates will keep going up. Like CCP China..very little charity or social mobility. Gotta pray you can join the party for any connections to rise up! Did ya see how billions of dollars scammed out of Chinese citizens? A bank, supported by other large banks AND the CCP, was just a scam. when people went out to protest...The CCP flagged every person who had the likelihood to protest, AS BEING FLAGGED RED(Which means covid positive and to be forced into quarantine hell) Terrifying!

@@telena5042 I know there are others. I've noticed that they work together on occasion and seem to post each other's videos. When I was complimenting them, I meant the entire network of divers. When I said nobody is looking but you, I was referring to municipal, state and federal officials. It's unsettling that people who are missing loved ones, people who go for nature walks, people who go fishing, people who drive down the road, etc. are driving by something like that. There aren't even people other that these volunteer divers that care about cleaning our waterways and pulling cars out of the water for the sake of the environment I sure hope these divers start a movement that is supported by officials who want to take responsibility for getting this job done. On another note, but similar to this problem, there are murder victims whose crimes are unsolved. It's a different kind of cold case, that are unsolved because authorities haven't run DNA tests on rape kits, and DNA from murder victims hasn't-been fully tested. Some cities are up-to-date with their testing, while others have a 10-year backlog. Many of these crimes can now be solved with funding for DNA testing in cooperation with genealogy databases. About 10 such cold cases are now being solved per month. They could do a lot more with dedicated funding. Murderers are living among us, while family members can't sleep at night because their loved one's crimes is also unsolved. Some murder cold cases can be solved by DNA funding, while some missing person cold cases can be solved by trained divers. Both issues need to be addressed. It's new level crime solving. We've got to do better. We shouldn't have to rely on the generosity of volunteers and charity for required services. If they stop, what happens then? As a point of professional responsibility, these divers have proven that every waterway needs to be searched and regularly monitored.

Little Rock was and apparently still is a seedy area! When I signed up for the Marine Corp in 84 I had to go to a MEPS station down there from SW Missouri to get medically checked out before I could be accepted. I got let off at the wrong bus station, the right one would have been a block or two away from the MEPS station the recruiters told me so I started walking at about 10 o'clock at night. Before I left the bus station I bought a fountain soda so the woman at the window was watching while I opened my wallet to search for a couple dollar bills to pay for it I figured out later. A car load of guys immediately drove along side of me and asked if I could give them a couple bucks for gas. I said I didn't have any money any the driver answered back exactly the amount I had in my wallet, $17. I said FU and turned in the other direction now 3 or 4 blocks away from the bus station and these guys floored it and did a U-turn to come back around on me and then this cab pulls up before they could make it back to me and asked if I needed a ride. I happily got in and said yes saying I needed a ride to the MEPS station, probably saved my life but it didn't stop there. He said he picked up guys all the time headed to the MEPS station that had been dropped off at the wrong bus station and asked me if I minded if he went by to pick someone else up, I had never even been in a cab before and knew this guy had just saved me from at the very least an ass beating or death, so I said sure. We must have drove for I don't know how many miles across town and the person he picked up got in the front seat and we drove away. At some point early on after we picked up this other guy I leaned forward to thank this guy again for saving me from what was about to be my fate and I looked down as the passenger was handing him a rolled up quart sized Ziploc with something white in it then I looked up toward the rearview mirror as I sat back in the seat and those were the most evil eyes I had ever seen looking back at me. They said something under their breath to each other and after a while he pulled over and let the guy out. It was 1984 and I was 17 years old and wasn't from a big city, I figured for the second time that night I was as good as dead having seen that. I only looked back at the rearview mirror once right after he pulled away and saw that same look, I just stayed calm and never looked up again. I think he must have saw that at that time and date as someone who wasn't going to say a word to anyone and dropped me off at the MEPS station. I actually saw him the next day by the bus station and thanked him for getting me where I should have been and he just blew it off as nothing, I was trying to make sure he gave the next guy in my position the same chance of making it off the city streets of Little Rock alive. I would never go back there again, especially after dark, there is no telling how bad it is now and the chance of someone caring about you are probably slim to none. All of what I just said was 100% true, I've never told it all in its entirety, didn't think anyone would have believed me back then. Didn't mean to wright such a long comment but I felt compelled to, be careful of being in a situation where you can be prayed upon by things you don't even understand. That's what Downtown Little Rock was like in the mid 80's!

It's sad when you find them but at the same time great because now they know for sure. IDK about missing persons here in Yakima WA but with all the illegal things that go on here (Gang activity. They absolutely should NOT get any TV network involved. Networks don't care about actual missing people. They only care about rating$. Any TV network or big media corp would meddle with every little thing the AWP does, all for the sake of drama, the @#$& ratings, and potential advertiser $$$. And, bluntly, networks would insist that AWP focus on more white victims in the name of "mass market appeal". No, AWP should stay as they are, independant & in full control of what they do.

@@morningmorning4479 I've seen it. Yes break days like that are good, as I say in my post, but that is not going to give them opportunity to fully deal with the complex emotions, trauma & psychological dynamics that come with finding and retrieving lost persons in very sad and tragic circumstances time and time again, & multiple searches that don't find the person after huge efforts and emotional rollercoasters. That can all build up, I've seen how Doug & others have changed emotionally in their time with AWP & how others have stepped away, so needs to have the opportunity to be unpacked and broken down so that it doesn't create a bigger turmoil and trauma that may not be able to be unwound later. A good organisation dealing with those circumstances should have someone available for everyone to speak to as needed if they want it and to periodically check in with everyone regardless. If someone gets so contorted mentally from the emotions and trauma for searches such as they do and goes into one that could bring the whole thing down and potentially risk others lives.

I admit, I would take on too much of the families sadness to do this job. I'm just to mush of an empath with no ability to compartmentalize. It is mine too, because on my honeymoon, I was trapped underwater not in a car but by a boat that was taking a parasailer out into the ocean. Problem wasn't me. I 100% knew the safe cordoned off area INside the yellow ropes and buoys where it was safe for swimmers during those 2 weeks we were there. It was early in the hot day and suddenly saw a boater pulling out a parasailer inside my 'safe' zone with intense speed. The boat operator was supposed to begin OUTSIDE of this roped area, in a direction AWAY from the swimmers on one side. It didn't happen that way and was pure neglect on his part. I felt a strong and taught rope pull me further and further out into the ocean as the motorboat took up great speed gathering me with it. I thought for sure I was a goner because I am not a good swimmer hence why I'd been in that one area for almost 2 weeks. Thankfully no kids were out in the water yet. It was my honeymoon and there must have been an angel that saved me because I remember going out and under very quickly and thinking that I hoped my new husband would find my body before having to return home, a widower. The worst terror I felt and now I am terrified of water past my abdomen or any strong waves.

Jared, I have great respect for you,you have come along way quickly due to your expertise in scuba diving and becoming very well informed on the technology, but you cannot determine depth of water from the weeds, it would really throw you off in Canada. I lost a good friend of mine when I was nineteen, due to a drowning. The scuba team came next morning and they had to close the trent canal in that area to scuba dive. My friend hit his own wake, threw him out of the boat with the weeds they figured tangled him, the water was 15 ft. deep with 11ft. high of weeds. At My grandparents cottage end of dock was 4ft. deep, three feet further it dropped to over twenty feet. What I really respect in you, is you admit mistakes and then follow thru, like this finding a car within minutes. You are doing such a wonderful service across USA and all of you are receiving the respect from the police for e, community that you deserve for all your hard work. I wish you all continued success, hoping this movement spreads to Canada and I know all your fans would support you 100% in making this a weekly TV show. I hope you find all the missing people giving these families the answers they have waited so long for. Make sure you all take the time for yourself and family as this is such a stressful and emotional journey.

I have been watching your videos just since yesterday and quite apart from the inherent value of the work you guys are doing, the quality of the videos and production is great. The videos capture the authenticity of your work shows in a simple genuine way you go about it.

There are several more boat ramps in the Little Rock area that could be checked. A lot of stuff gets ditched in that river. It’s extremely dangerous and not many people are willing to dive in it.
