Secret Six Omnibus by GAIL SIMONE Hardcover Comic Review

Welcome back! Oh my goodness did I forget how great this book was until skimming through it again. This is a great package but even better, it a GREAT comic, with great art and a perfect story. Gail Simone is one of the best comic authors that have ever existed and here she shares here love of comics by writing one of the best series ever published. Taking mediocre characters and making them loved and then putting them (and the reader) through the ringer. Just buy it and read it and the next time you see Gail Simone, thank her again for the rest of us.

In my opinion Simone has terrible political/social views, but so do Mark Waid and dozens of others. Fortunately they've created amazing stories that anyone can enjoy. Secret Six is easily superior to Suicide Squad lol, especially the mediocre Squad team since New 52. This book looks damn good!!!

I have the singles. I had the trades, and gave them away when I got the compendiums. I can’t buy the collection AGAIN, but highly recommend it to anybody who hasn’t read it. In my top ten post 2000 titles.
