I am so glad these men came out with the truth and shared their stories. They need not to be afraid to tell it from their experience on the field, but as this world is so critical 🙄, I think they used wise discretion in their sharing even during interviews. I respect that. I can only imagine what they went through that night and all the baggage of the aftermath they carry today. It’s not an event anyone wants to remember-the trauma, the noise, the lost lives of friends, the hopelessness, the fear, etc. These 6 men sacrificed their lives for others with no hesitation. They are real life superheroes! My heart goes out to the people back in Libya who want to be free and safe. And my heart for these heroic men who put their lives on the line against an army. This is a story that needs to be heard and honored. Thank you for your service and for displaying an utmost humble and bold bravery-for thinking of others before yourself. Truly amazing. ♥️♥️♥️♥️ I have so much more to say but there are absolutely no words able to express your story. It’s unbelievably courageous and bold. I am most certain that heroism never came across their minds and that is what makes this story even more genuine and authentic. Their families and loved ones endure their absence for daunting and unexpected missions like this, I can only imagine what they were thinking. I am so touched to know they never gave up.

Stating that she's lost more sleep over this than others. The first comment is evading the questioning, and the second is an appeal for sympathy, and is a vague generality, for who can determine who lost the most sleep over this. @@Mccca27 in a nutshell, they were diplomatic security for a quasi embassy in Libya. On 9/11/12 they were attacked by ISIS militants, they had no immediate assets for support, they held off repeated attacks until help arrived the next morning. Four died including the ambassador.

Bought the DVD about a year ago and have watched it at least 10 times and never make it thru the whole thing without breaking down and get so angry. It should have never happened and those responsible have never been punished for their actions, or should say inaction.

I was never in a situation like this guy was, or the operators during Gothic Serpent (Black Hawk Down). Although I was in Afghanistan when this happened. Different country, but the whole CENTCOM region was in a state of civil unrest because of this. I remember convoying outside the wire and seeing mobs of men shouting at us holding AK's as we went through Kandahar. Due to a previous windy sandstorm, the air was considered black (meaning helicopters weren't available if needed), roads were blocked off, and fires set at intersections. Nobody knew why. When we finally found a way back to base, we were told it was because someone posted an offensive video on KZbin, and we thought it sounded like a load of bull. It ended up just being a lie from Hillary Clinton to cover up her awful leadership. Similar to her husband's poor decision making and denying U.S. forces the resources they needed in 1993 during the Battle of Mogadishu. They both have so much blood on their hands, and I'm not even talking about the body count list.

"A NO BRAINER" . . . If our Government said there was NEVER an order to STAND DOWN, then that means our Government said, "GO, GO, GO, GET THEM OUT OF THERE." I find it hard to believe that these brave men said NO, We are NOT GOING. So what was it? STAND DOWN or GO GO GO, it's one or the other. I believe that 4 men should still be alive today. NOBODY TRUST OUR GOVERNMENT ANYMORE and you can see it in the elections of these CAREER POLITICIANS NOT getting re-elected.
